Iris is awesome and I just got into them this year, so this is really exciting news when I assumed they were more or less a dead band.

Yeah I was wrong there and found it. I'll just let this situation go I just finished spinning the album and can't be mad.

The majority of people on this site would have been at that show if was Blink 182 or the Menzingers, but it was Madball so its an easy target and then the media likes to make up stories and add fuel to the fire. I also don't think people keep up with vaccination efforts in other cities. Where I am its still hard to get an appointment. We're at 71% of adults have gotten their first shot. I think most places its still not easy to get an appointment, but in NYC you don't even need one.

Trying to paint it as a form of protest comparing it to the BLM protests is disgusting. 

Got mine. Recorded myself opening it after hearing all the horror stories.
 
Overall, it's OK. Nothing I'd make a big deal of. Very small creases on the sleeve corners, a few rips here and there from shipping. The actual vinyl pieces were pretty dusty, but I'm satisfied.

They throw whatever shit they have lying around in the pressing machines for bootlegs. It's typical to have them all be different. You're a dick for getting a refund after saying you don't care about what the pressing is though.

I haven't found these discussed yet, but there have finally been some overdue Pat the Bunny vinyl releases. There is a Johnny Hobo & the Freight Trains compilation "Fight Like Hell" which features demos + their half of the Love Songs For The Apocalypse split. There's also a release of the Wingnut album "Burn The Earth Leave It Behind".

This started in 2019. Both have their 4th and final pressings up on the DIY Bandits Bandcamp currently. They are being released to benefit the founder of DIY Bandits, and they have Pat's blessing.

Tbh, your entitlement is kinda bogus. These things take time and effort, and you’re just assuming that they can handle requests of that magnitude even during a pandemic when most businesses are functioning at lower capacity. If this company were to take specific requests from every individual that orders from them, the amount of problems that could arise are astronomical. Try to consider things like this when kicking and screaming certain services be rendered in order to prevent something that MIGHT happen.

Good Day - I have a vinyl copy of Live Evil..and yes, it rocks. Question is this.... sides 1-3 are Live Evil. Side 4, while listing all the songs for Live Evil side 4, when the needle hits the vinyl, side 2 of Purple Rain comes out of my speakers. I purchased this gem at Streetlight records in S.F. many many moons ago for 99 cents. I can not find any reference at all on the ol internet about it and was just curious if anyone else has any info on the piece. Thanks all. Stay safe.

I don't mean this to simp for Target but Walmart is notoriously known for being the bottom level for how they treat their workers while the founding family is the richest family in the US.
Target is generally memed about how much fun it is to shop there 🤷‍♂️

We repressed this album because the 1st pressing mostly sold out.. not supporting a band because their album is readily available and trying to make money when they can't tour is a very strange concept to me.

New pressing looks great! 

Its funny how people are targeting this one line when it's one of the ones that hit closest to home for me. I have distanced myself from all friends or relatives who still support the GOP. They're not dead, but they're no longer a cancer in my life. 

Can I still try to adjust it in case it decides to... cooperate? All I know is that new, decent quality styli are more expensive than I want to be, at least I think the one on this turntable is. Should I look up what the cartridge is in the manual (or appropriate resource) and just buy a replacement, or go full circle and get a totally different cartridge?
 
Now that makes me think, "Are there cartridges made specifically for this bass-heavy type of music?"... I'll have to look that up, too. Wow, I really suck at looking things up!
