  1. Thanks man! "Withdraw" is now streaming here too... Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/album/1d77V5rCaJ4YehsMgxlL7c YouTube: https://youtu.be/YlB_ipVOkZE
  2. Hey guys, the first in our Private Press series is up for pre-order today. It's a single from Vow, and marks the first single since Nick Steinhardt of Touché Amoré joined the band. Pre-order at bit.ly/vowwithdraw More info: Vow is back, and today Noisey is streaming "Withdraw". It's the first single off their forthcoming debut album, out this Spring. "Withdraw" also marks the first entry in our Private Press series. Pressed on made-to-order hand-numbered square 7” lathe cuts, “Withdraw” will be on sale for a one week period. At the end of that week we will press the exact amount ordered, and that’s it. No repressing ever, one and done. This is your only chance to ever own this 7”, so if you want it, order by February 3rd. All order should ship about two weeks later. Oh, and Nick Steinhardt of Touché Amoré has joined Vow as a permanent member on guitar. And Elliot Babin, his bandmate from Touché recorded drums on "Withdraw" as well. "Withdraw" marks a departure from the synth-pop of their former life, and focuses more on the indie rock elements we'll all hear on their upcoming album.
  3. Ah, cool. Thanks man! Glad you like it, man. I thought those two and King Woman were the best way to describe the band.
  4. Thanks for the support guys! In all seriousness, I really dig what you guys are doing at F&B!
  5. Hey guys, I have a really cool release out today from FVNERALS! Here's some info: Today I'm ecstatic to announce that FVNERALS have joined The Native Sound family! Based in Glassgow, Scotland, FVNERALS are the first international band on the label, and one that fans of the label will undoubtably agree is as a fitting addition. To celebrate this announcement, we are releasing their debut LP, The Light (originally issued in 2014 via Throne Records and Eerie Echoes) on limited edition cassette tapes for the first time ever. If you're a fan of King Woman, True Widow, or even Chelsea Wolfe, and each of their haunting takes on doom, shoegaze and drone, you'll find something to love in FVNERALS. Look out for news on their next LP later this year! Pick it up at bit.ly/thelighttape
  6. Glad everyone's so into the record! TL;DR: Second press on the way, first press back in stock. Order at: bit.ly/sheeruneasy Here's an update: Second press, on Pink shells (out of 100), are up for pre-order and shipping this week. We also have more Translucent Green and Dark Blue copies available. When the plant shipped the second pressing, they mistakenly repressed them on the colors of the first pressing. They're sending us the Pink copies now, but we're keeping the initial incorrect order. So, the first press is now larger, and available again. Translucent Green is now limited to 40 (originally 20), and the Dark Blue is now limited to 160 (originally 80). I know this is confusing. But, if you missed out on the first press, it's available again!
  7. Full album is streaming at Bullett Media: http://bullettmedia.com/article/the-native-sound-go-track-by-track-on-their-beautiful-90s-gaze-lp-sheer/ Tapes are in and shipping!
  8. Out of curiosity, how much does Joyful Noise usually charge for the VIP one sided 7"s lathes?
  9. Good on you for owning up to not having understood the true scope of their absolutely repulsive bull shit.
  10. Has everyone checked out Sheer yet? Newest signing on my label. Debut album "Uneasy" is out next month. More info: bit.ly/sheeruneasy
  11. Hey guys, Sheer is the newest band to join The Native Sound. We just announced their debut record Uneasy, and Noisey premiered their music video for the title track. I hope you guys dig it! Pre-order at bit.ly/sheeruneasy More info: Part shoegaze, part 90s-alternative and grunge, Uneasy is the debut album and inaugural release from Simi Valley’s Sheer. Formed in the summer of 2014, quickly becoming a staple in the greater LA scene, Sheer channel an earnestness redolent to that of mid-90s emo and indie rock, while primarily occupying a reverb-induced space suggestive of Galaxie 500 and The Jesus And Mary Chain. While Uneasy introduces the band as one with a kinship for catchy, pop-informed melodies, their focus relies most heavily on building evocative and emotive soundscapes. Uneasy will be released on November 20th on limited edition cassette tapes, and digital download and streaming outlets.
  12. One day left on eBay bump! http://www.ebay.com/itm/-/171952856539?
  13. This is on eBay now: http://www.ebay.com/itm/-/171952856539?
  14. I figured you guys would probably want to know that we just released "Body Is Dead (Demos)" as a free download at bit.ly/BIDdemos. I hope you dig it! Also, here's a cool session the band did recently:
  15. Last new song before the EP is out on Friday! Here's what Noisey said: "Threading is a shoegaze band from Michigan that plays ultra lush and enrapturing music. You can act super hard like you're over the newest wave in shoegaze, but Threading deliver music that stands truer to the roots of the genre rather than just cashing in on something. On "Candy Ghost," the piercing and huge soundscapes produced in an extremely short amount of time are remarkable. It isn't the kind of pop shoegaze in vogue right now, instead becoming the kind of dissasociative mix that sets the listener apart from what's going on outside of the headphones. It's a mesmerizing experience, before the band finally lets you go in the apex of the song." http://noisey.vice.com/blog/threading-new-song-candy-girl Cool
  16. Thanks for picking up the record guys! If anyone still hasn't listened to it, stream a few songs here: bit.ly/bodyisdead
  17. FYI: Two of the four test pressings for Body Is Dead are on sale here: http://thenativesound.limitedrun.com/products/558414-test-pressings
  18. Everyone needs to check this out. It's Unconditional Arms – Jeff from The American Scene's post-rock band. I put out a split for them earlier this year, and this single is probably one of their best songs yet. I think there's less than 10 copies left at ITC
  19. Thanks! This is honestly my favorite tape out of all the tapes we've pressed so far. I love how this pressing came out.
  20. Yup, that's exactly it. We were bummed about the plant delay in the 7" repress so we decided to do something cool with the demos that she had laying around, so we did the Deluxe Edition and tape for the bonus songs. Repress is the same as the one we announced earlier.
