  1. Really glad you liked Everything! I knew you'd like the Requiem OST, but wasn't sure about the book or the other records. That Like Rats and Handsome stuff was stuff I got from this last year. I spun it a few times and thought someone who's more into that style of music could appreciate it, with the Like Rats at least. I'm stoked you liked a lot of it! Have a great Christmas!
  2. Bump! Sold BSN, will update the thread when I'm on a PC. Bump! Sold BSN, will update the thread when I'm on a PC.
  3. So, I'm trying to get some extra cash for the holidays. Most of this stuff is stuff I've been trying to get rid of for a while. Some of it is stuff I'm only gonna get rid of if I get a good amount for them because I quite like them a lot, but need the money more at this point. Hit me up with some offers if you're interested in any of it. Bad Books - II - signed, red Circa Survive - B-Sides 7" - clear Circa Survive - Blue Sky Noise - blue Circa Survive - On Letting Go - pic disc Coheed & Cambria - The Color Before the Sun box set, has all the original stuff A Day to Remember Old Record - grey A Day to Remember - What Separates Me From You - baby blue The Format - Interventions & Lullabies - orange La Dispute - Rooms of the House - blue La Dispute - Wildlife - RSD, pink Murder by Death - In Bocca al Lupo - fold-out, 2x10", gold/red The Receiving End of Sirens - The Earth Sings a Mi Fa Mi - OG press Rx Bandits - Progress - black/white nuke Straylight Run - About Time - silver Straylight Run - Prepare to Be Wrong - red
  4. Finally got around to taking a couple pics tonight. Sadly the prints got a little bent up in the box but I'm doing my best to flatten the edges out.
  5. So, I recently got a Numark Pro TT 2 for $5 at a garage sale. I know this is more of a DJ turntable and I know nothing about them but it was $5 and they said it worked. I brought it home and hooked it up and at first the needle was just sliding across the record but I adjusted the counterweight thing and got it to play. It sounds pretty good, actually, and it is most definitely not calibrated right and could likely use a new stylus. But the LED screen, speed adjustments, 33/45/78 speeds work and all seems to be well. One of the hinges on the dust shell is broken but it's not the actual turntable, it's on the plastic and can easily be replaced. Plus, the shell has a bunch of shitty stickers on it. I know next to nothing about these types of tables and already have a U-Turn that I love. How much do these usually go for? I looked on eBay and only saw a couple things that were all really different. I'll try putting it on Craigslist but I don't see stuff like that selling well here. If not, I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and ship it. If anyone has any info on this or any advice or knows anyone who might be interested, please let me know!
  6. Wow, how could I forgot about the nunchucks! Probably because it was quite late. Haha. They're still sitting on my coffee table actually. I wanna hang them up or something. I sat there laughing for a minute when I saw those at the bottom of the box. I'll try and get some pictures up soon. That's really rad that your wife's band used to open for Annuals. I randomly found them through a split they did with Manchester Orchestra and I really dig them. Thanks again!
  7. Alright! I got my package in Monday! I'm impatient so I ripped it open. I'm assuming my Secret Santa is ajhall/Andrew, and if so, you did awesome! Sorry for the lack of pictures. The stuff is already scattered around my apartment and I suck. 1. Dance Gavin Dance - Mothership on vinyl. This is literally the best thing you could have gotten me. I've been listening to this album daily for a month and a half now and just saw them live last month. I just haven't had the money to pick up the LP yet. Super stoked on this. 2. Into it. Over it.'s Proper on vinyl. A super rad variant too! This is definitely my favorite album by Evan in general and I'm glad to finally have it! 3. A record I've never heard of but am stoked to listen to 4. A 5(?)" that I didn't recognize. Again, super excited to check it out. 5. A CD from a band I'd never heard of but the art looked really cool! Gonna listen to it soon! 6. Some rad vinyl themed coasters. I actually really needed coasters! 7. A couple cool little prints. Not sure where most of them are from but they're rad either way. There was also what seemed to be an Annuals tour poster from a show and I love Annuals. 8. A bunch of assorted stickers, pins and a cool little print set. Probably the coolest thing about this all was the packaging. Holy shit so much work was put into it. The record I had never heard before was wrapped in Christmas paper, then there was a mailer wrapped in Christmas paper, then inside the mailer was two more records, the ones I did know, wrapped in Christmas paper. And Christmas paper was used to stuff the box so it didn't get knocked around everywhere. Super duper impressive. I wish I could show it off, but I'm like a kid when I open things, so it didn't last long. It was an awesome package, man! Thanks a lot!
  8. Woohoo! Intro time! Looking forward to doing shopping and planning. I always look forward to SS every year, even when I'm not on VC much. So, I'm Kevin. I'm 23, will be 24 by the time the packages get sent out. I'm still in college for creative writing. I've been collecting vinyl since 2011-ish. I've slowed down a lot over the last two years or so, but I still buy the things I really want/need when I can. I've been selling off unnecessary parts of my collection because I recently moved and GOD DAMN that was a pain. So I'm wielding it down to the good stuff, and stuff I know I'll listen to. Quality over quantity and all. So, I like a lot of different music. Post-hardcore, darker folk, more progress indie, some progressive metal, pop punk, and a decent amount of stuff I don't know how to put into a genre. My favorite bands are Dance Gavin Dance (and a bunch of the bands around them), Circa Survive, Taking Back Sunday, The Dear Hunter, The Wonder Years, Murder by Death, Lydia, and a lot more. My favorite TV shows are usually crime/outlaw dramas. And a few other things mixed in. Sons of Anarchy, Breaking Bad, Hell on Wheels, Justified, Game of Thrones, Black Sails, Silicon Valley, It's Always Sunny, and plenty more. My taste in books is random as hell. But I love pulpy crime fiction and dark thrillers. My favorite authors are Cormac McCarthy and Elmore Leonard. I like whiskey. I don't drink a lot these days, but when I do it's either a nice whiskey. A good cider or the occasional stout. Bourbon is my favorite but I can get down with most any whiskey as long as it's not, like, Black Velvet or Canadian Mist. I will say that my tradelist is woefully out of date, but I did update my want list with the stuff I'm looking for. I also like band/tour prints and that kinda stuff, especially the bigger ones that I can frame and hang in my house. My living room is lined with them. Haha. Shirt size large. Uh. I'm running out of things to say. Oh, I'm also a video game and tech nerd. I love messing with new and old computer/audio stuff. My favorite game series are Fallout and Kingdom Hearts, hands down. Those are the only two I'm really into past playing them when they come out. Okay, I'm done! Super stoked to get this goin'.
  9. Yeah, I barely know anyone anymore. D: I hardly ever have time to use this site much these days. And I don't really have the money to stalk the boards for pre-orders. Haha. But I still love this place and can't miss out on SS. This is like my fifth year in a row or something.
  10. Alright, so, I’m back with some of the records I didn’t get to list last time and a couple of the ones I didn’t sell last time.
