  1. Well, it's been quite some time since I've done this for more than a couple records. I haven't really been collecting much these days due to not having much time or money to do so and I've really only been buying a couple records a year, all new releases mostly. So, I wanted to put up a handful of records to sell that I don't really listen to much these days. I could certainly use the extra cash and wouldn't mind saving a little space on my shelf. Some of this stuff is rare/expensive, some is cheap and easy to come by. Just shoot me some offers. The Spill Canvas record has been going for crazy money recently (or it had at one point) so I may end up throwing it on eBay but I kinda doubt it. I always try to avoid it if I can. Anthony Green - Young Legs - Hand-painted jacket Breaking Bad - OST - 2xLP pic disc Bring Me the Horizon - There is a Hell - clear Copeland - Ixora - white Emery - You Were Never Alone - signed, clear w/black splatter Fall Out Boy - From Under the Cork Tree - maroon La Dispute - Rooms of the House - blue La Dispute - Wildlife - RSD pink /100 The Receiving End of Sirens - The Earth Sings Mi Fa Mi - 1st press The Spill Canvas - Scraps/No Really, I'm fine - 2xLP Third Eye Blind - Ursa Major - 180g, black/white/grey splatter You, Me & Everyone We Know - Dogged - green splatter So, shoot me some offers if you're interested.
  2. Hey guys. It's been a while since I've posted in this section. Haven't had a lot of money to buy records and haven't had a lot of records I've been willing to sell. But, money's tight right now and there's a couple of purchases I need to make soon, not to mention the regular shit. I wanted to post these here first because I know there's a lot of Circa/Anthony Green/The Sound of Animals Fighting fans on here and I wanna give them a chance to grab this stuff. I honestly don't know what I'm looking to get for these. I suppose it's one of those "it's worth what someone will pay" type of things. I know it's unlikely I'll get what I paid for them but I'd like to try and get somewhat close. It's definitely going to take a good offer for the Young Legs and a pretty decent one for the test. But, hit me up and we'll see what we can figure out! So, without waiting any longer, here they are. Anthony Green - Young Legs Hand-Painted Vinyl: So, I bought this when the pre-orders went up. It was a lot of money then and, while I sort of regret it, it's mostly because I just wasn't into the album as much as I thought I'd be. Still, it's going to be hard for me to let go of since Anthony's still one of my favorite people and musicians and it's very pretty artwork. Each one of these I've seen looks quite different and I believe has a different Polaroid on the back. It was never played, since I have a regular copy and, like I said, I wasn't too into the album. It's been sitting in my Violent Waves box since I got it. http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o80/yokou777/5F807E50-6E56-486F-99FF-3B9600D71530_zpscano5moh.jpg http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o80/yokou777/0C78A783-1260-462B-BADE-18218416EDCC_zpsrreoyfrv.jpg http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o80/yokou777/AD9F0A3F-5B13-4B99-999E-33CE6D1680AA_zpsvbkw8jos.jpg The Sound of Animals Fighting - Lover, the Lord Has Left Us Test Press 4/25 w/ custom screenprinted jacket So, this is something I bought back when the pre-orders for the TSOAF vinyl all went up and it's another thing I thought I wanted more than I did. Not that I don't like the album, but because it's not all that important to me. Back then, I was still trying to do the whole Circa/AG/TSOAF/etc super complete collection and I pieced that out last year so I guess it's time to let this go. This will be a bit easier to let go of but, still, I won't really mind keeping it if I don't get any decent offers. It's 4/25, never played by me, and I had a custom screenprinted jacket made by a VC member who made one for anyone who wanted one. Super amazing work and better than most regular jackets. It also wasn't super cheap (as much as a modern 2xLP I think). Lots of pictures for this one. http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o80/yokou777/6BAB0E2C-3E24-411B-AC1C-D6B9681723C8_zpsjdog9qmt.jpg http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o80/yokou777/AA335F73-A8CC-4DCF-B650-A8F06376DBBD_zps3yschttx.jpg http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o80/yokou777/E9E0D344-0397-45E0-85EB-84CDE0F4D74D_zpsuaxmvs2x.jpg http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o80/yokou777/D516627C-B65A-4923-B245-A4B8DF379D36_zps0ebjoyky.jpg http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o80/yokou777/82CC87D6-664F-4DDE-81B2-200D75BC37E1_zpsyuje6f4r.jpg http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o80/yokou777/7A56049C-395C-43C4-8607-AF4BA7EB5637_zpsodxdobi7.jpg So, yeah, if anyone's interested in either or both of these, hit me with a PM and we'll see what we can work out.
  3. I'm stoked you liked all the stuff! I know you didn't guess me but it's after the new year so the fun's over. I got the You Blew It! record from your want list because your music taste seemed quite diverse and I didn't really know which way to go. I'm also really bad at throwing in cool stuff like stickers and all because I'm not very creative and I lost my box of stickers. Haha. But I hope you like Grow Up Dude enough to make up for it! I'm super stoked that you and your lady liked the No Such Noise record. It's been sitting in my pile of stuff to sell because I never listened to it. But they ended up playing in my city a couple months back which was really cool. I thought it would be a good shot in the dark. The NFG 7" was something I've had for like five years and decided it was time to give it to someone who might like it more and they're a pretty widely loved band so I figured I'd send it your way. The Tiny Moving Parts 7" was something I thought you'd like and figured I'd give it a shot. They're a great band I always love getting more people into them! Glad you saw them live. I haven't gotten to yet. I'll be honest, the other 7" was just something I threw in because I felt bad for not having all the cool swag people usually send. I'm not sure if you're dig them or not but I hope you do! Glad you liked the package and hope you had a good set of holidays!
  4. Fuck yeah! •A nice note •A USB drive with music •La Dispute - Somewhere at the Bottom... On purple •Murder by Death split •Handome LP •Child Bite split •Like Rats 7" •Another 7" I don't get know the name of because I suck at reading cursive writing •Some stickers! •An ISIS CD •BUTTONS Funny enough, I got a huge package from MBD on the same day as this so that split was right on point. It's one of the few I was missing. That La Dispute record is awesome since I had to trade mine awhile back for something I needed more. I love hearing music from people's hometowns so the other LP and split were cool. The 7" (Fuck Your something in cursive) was definitely my favorite out of the stuff I didn't know. I went through and listened to all the music on the playlist (sadly not in order because playlist files don't like me and wouldn't import in to anything) and definitely found some rad music I'm gonna have to look into! I'm also always happy to add more buttons to my "why do I have all these buttons?" box and some of the ones you sent are really rad! My SS is definitely Mike aka smailtronic unless someone else lives in Chocago, works at Adler and listens to the same obscure and amazing emo bands. Thanks a ton dude!
  5. Got a SS package in today! Will open it and post pics when I get home from work!
  6. One of my best friend is actually really close friends with those guys so it's really cool to see them getting some love. Wish I had the extra cash laying around to pick one up but I've gotta save it in case there's something I super need.
  7. Gah. All these rad gifts are making me feel bad about what I sent. Hopefully they found at least something they liked in it.
  8. I think everyone should be impatient and rip open their packages and post pictures. Super stoked to get mine and see what my person thinks of theirs!
  9. Yeah, I know halls hard it can be to get up with a band. I backed Emery's IndieGoGo. Haha. The site the self do have some responsibility in issues like this but I still feel like the band or whoever's running the campaign should be held accountable more so. I know nothing about the band or Woodstock besides what I've read here so I can't really comment past this. The band definitely should have updated everyone about the delay, though, and been straight up with everyone about the vinyl. It really sucks when bands are so shitty about this kinda stuff.
  10. I was going to post pretty much this same thing except I have no opinion on this particular band and didn't order the record. It sounds like a clusterfuck and Pledge should definitely do more to hold hands accountable but crowd funding is so massive and they have a lot of projects to deal with. The artists or labels do all the handling of things themselves and the site usually has no idea what's going on because they're getting emails about one out of hundreds of projects going on. The best thing to do is usually contact the band or label. I've backed three or four or so projects on there and it all went amazingly, save for a few delays which I expect these days. That does really suck though. However, it sounds like I'd be more pissed at who put up the page rather than the site who allows bands to function without labels. Not that all crowd funding is good but I think it usually works for the better. Sorry to hear about all that shit.
  11. I hope they can get what they're asking. I'll try and contribute at some point if I have the cash. I loved Heavy Fruit. I'm starting to get burnt out on crowd funding but I really don't mind it when a band who isn't on a label goes that route. $56,000 seems like a lot to ask for a band of this size, but I may be underestimating them because I don't know many people who are into them. Not that $56,000 isn't what it costs, just that it might be a lot to ask from a smaller fan base. What's wrong with Pledge Music? Not that I'm defending them, I just haven't been keeping up with recent news as much so I don't know if there have been problems.
  12. He is Legend and Dead Poetic are the only things I really care about. Blindside and Showbread would be rad too.
  13. Hey guys! Suppose I should post one of these now. Was trying to keep up with the thread and post one at the beginning of the intro part but I got caught up in work, school and Metal Gear. Anyways! I'm Kevin. My tradelist is woefully out of date but I tried to delete some of the stuff I no longer have. My want list on Deadformat is now up to date, though! I'm awfully at keeping DF up to date. But I love a lot of post-hardcore bands, like the bands on Blue Swan (Dance Gavin Dance-esque), used to be into A Day to Remember and stuff like that, and I have a weird affinity for early-to-mid-2000s emo/post-hardcore like From Autumn to Ashes, Underoath, Dead Poetic, stuff like that. I also love some folky music like Murder by Death (probably my favorite band), Good Old War, and a bunch of other smaller bands that I don't feel like naming. Some of my other favorites are Circa Survive, The Dear Hunter, Taking Back Sunday, the like. I love crime novels and TV shows and movies. Old Elmore Leonard books, Sons of Anarchy, Gangster Squad, The Godfather, Breaking Bad, Cormac McCarthy books, just to name a few. I play a lot of video games, Fallout being by far my favorite. I drink a lot. I love whiskey, especially bourbon, I love hard ciders, the like. I smoke hookah on occasion and like cool and yummy flavors of shisha. Um, I'm running out of things about me. Lol. So yeah.
  14. I mean... Is there any difference in the 'regular joe' variant and the $100/$200 one? Besides it being signed?
  15. I saw this song live on the RXB tour last year. It killed live and killed even more finally getting to hear the full version. The electro parts threw me off when they played it live but it ended up being fucking great. I am so stoked for this album.
  16. I was trying to defend them up until now, but the one thing they actually did promise about the $100 variant wasn't even followed through on. Oh well. I'm too apathetic to care right now.
