still haven't gotten to Collapser, but this album is pretty good.  Lottttta different new things.  The Pianos track is really good.  It threw me off hard at first, but that ending is great. 

Division Blues is a big favorite too.

New Year

This is one of my favorites from BTBAM..  I picked this up and have had a chance to listen through on speakers and a couple more times with headphones on. 
 
To me, the headline to the remaster is that the mids have definitely been scooped and a lot more compression added. Where parts of the album get really busy and were generally difficult to discern some of the more complex compositions, they are now much easier to hear and therefore the album is generally “easier” to listen to, with some more of the subtle instrumentation a lot more apparent now. There are parts of the album I heard with headphones on that I just never noticed before. I still love the old mix, it’s definitely got a bit more bite to it, however if I were pulling an album off the shelf to listen to between the two, I would pick this one.

This album is one of Joey's best. Can't get over how good it is.
 
Thought the green vinyl turned out kind of eh compared to the mock-up but at least it's better than any of the other variants. I'm just not a big fan of half and half.

I actually think the transparent green is my favorite so far, followed by the pink/white. This one looked just like the yellow white split but with blue. Still dope tho. Show was great and they killed it as per usual. Really heavy Absent Sounds set and maybe 6-7 songs from DL. 

This album is so good. Enjoying it more than the first already.

Dumb indeed, but if they want to run a sale I guess that is their prerogative. 
Rather than do the cancel/re-order gymnastics I just picked up an extra copy along with a few other things I had been eyeing.
Going to make it into a holiday gift for a friend.

Got mine in today. I snagged the green and it turned out very nice like the mock-up. Gatefold with lyrics and all. Only bummer is no DL code but I have no problem supporting him and buying the album twice. Def would recommend people to grab the record from bandcamp tho if you want digital included. 

I actually got a shipping confirmation today for the vinyl. Just waiting for it to update in USPS’ system. 🙏🏻

Seriously was thinking the same thing. I’m fine without the shrinkwrap but was worried the sticker would damage the sleeve during the removal process. 

Yep. Clear with green splatter. Also a really annoying sticker on the sleeve. 

Fuck yeah! Thank you for sharing. Been wanting this album for awhile and regret not picking it up when it was readily available.

Same. Easily my favorite album of the year and possibly from the entire FIL catalogue. Hoping they ship soon. 

Really? That fights for top spot for me. I love the relative heaviness of it and the way it jams out at the end. Really reminds me of his live performances.
