I bought it when it came out and the guy at the Megastore told me "Sorry CD only" when I asked for the vinyl. I made him check his magic order book and he confirmed. The only way this could be on vinyl would be a repress but with Warner I think that is unlikely.

To my knowledge the Muffs first LP is CD only...you are not chasing vinyl here, are you?

I guess this practice is the same as a supermarket checkout, you bought or looked for what you wanted but now you are given all these additional things that are not quite what you came for, but you may just go for it as it is there. And your Teen Idols analogy works well, because that is what browsing is all about, yes of course it is annoying if your search list returns 2 items you are looking for and 50 you don't. But in the good old days of going to record shops, it was never guaranteed that you find what you want. And please no one tell me that record collecting should be database search precision and sniper bids only because then it is time to pack it all in... IMHO

I would chase the seller on here for a couple of times with a friendly PM usually within 20days* from payment. If there is no response I would send a PM again and also an email to the Paypal address to notify them of your intent to file a dispute if you don't hear back within 48hrs. Then if you don't hear back file a dispute. That usually resolves a lot of issues straight away. Then follow Paypal guidelines on timings to escalate to a claim. If you have to escalate to a claim I would leave negative fb. Otherwise see how seller resolves it. *I live in the UK and 20days is double the average shipping time. In the US you need to work onyour gut feel of what is reasonable, but from what friends of mine say they get shirty after 10-12 days in the US

Careful with a sealed that says Limited Edition. Not sure on BP (I only have the blue one) but quite a few black releases have been stickered as Limited too because not huge amounts on black were pressed either... Happy to help you out if you wanted to trade the blue Failed State, but I am in europe so may not be your first choice. PM me if needed.
