  1. Love this album and am very excited I will no longer need to listed to the DR3 cd/digital. Can't wait!
  2. I really liked it. A mix of the softer/atmospheric part of Grace for Drowning and Heritage.
  3. I preordered, but i dont think the first single is any good. Hopefully I'll like more of the album.
  4. I don't think Comfort sold as well as ORG was hoping. I noticed ORG has put a lot of the reissues on the back burner to make way for their current artists.
  5. Seeing something on MoV is bittersweet. I have never had an issue with the vinyl or music quality from MoV but their prices are so high. For a single LP from MoV one can expect to pay at least $30 in the U.S. Not to mention that this kind of release is all profit for the record company that payed for the making(A&R, studio, production, art design, etc.) of this album a long time ago. Sorry I don't mean to rain on the parade here. I do hope more quality reissues come out for those who want some of these very rare and expensive LP's, even if they are $30.
  6. sspu's first two albums were 2xLP tho. going backwards in quality for a major release wouldn't make much sense. I was just throwing that out there for FYI fun.1500 is a lot for a label to sell. especially with that enormous shipping price!
  7. No, but I was under the assumption Amazon was listing a single LP version and not the 2xLP? I'd rather be safe than sorry and make sure I'm getting the 2xLP There is no single LP version of this. Amazon lists double LP's as single a lot with preorders. I wouldn't worry about it.
  8. Do you not shop at Amazon? They have had their preorder up for over a week. The price is steadily climbing from $17 dollars to $18.50 now. Just curious, I know some people have had bad luck with Amazon shipping. I have never had a problem.
  9. Maybe man. But since it is a Volta double LP I'm not sure they would go much lower than $25.99 anyway. Maybe $19 or $20 but I doubt it, I don't think the 3D influences price. It's just printed artwork, same price as any printed artwork. Oh, I know. I was just expressing my dislike for gimmicky stuff. it would be the same price regardless. And it is a good price, too. Considering some prices of new LPs out there, they could have charged more. I rather "pay" this price for 3-D artwork than have to pay for a funny shaped picture disc with bull crap noise on it ala Bedlam.
  10. A little rough? This LP is one of, if not the worst sounding records I own. It is super loud and compressed and stuffed on a single LP. I hope they give it a nice once over and that it sounds better because of it, but i think I will pass on this regardless.
  11. I guess I should have waited. Maybe I wouldn't have had to pay for a 3-D gimmick to get the vinyl.
  12. They never say the real numbers. Meaning UK and US combined. Perfect example was that Black Friday Nirvana singles box set that was supposedly limited to 5000 but it was really more like double that. I could care less if an item is limited or not but I just wish they would announce the full pressing numbers so I could know which items I could sleep on for sure and which items I should grab the day of. Yeah, I thought of that after I replied. Hopefully there will be enough for everyone who wants one and some left over for the late comers.
  13. According to the order sheet, there are going to be 2500 of these.
  14. A record I ordered from goHastings on amazon came in yesterday. It shipped in a soft bubble envelope and well, looks like it was shipped USPS in a soft bubble envelope. The cover is pretty bent up. Not just the "shop worn" look either. too bad for me. I had read here that they used less than optimal shipping containers and I ordered anyway. I have a couple more items coming my way ordered direct from their site. But unlike the Amazon purchase, these are a lot more expensive. I'm just hoping they don't look like the Amazon seller purchase.
  15. yeah. it sucks because i do like the music, but the mastering and pressing quality really ruin it for me.
  16. Mine sounded great. No skips. Thanks, Travis, for hooking up some of the people who wanted a 180gm black when MTS was sold out or charging too much. Keep the represses of expensive records coming!
  17. Not using a dynamic counting system, and then just sending partial orders is a pretty poor way to do business. I'm kind of shocked. They are a VERY respected company.
  18. That number sounds very high, but if it cuts down on some of the flipping and makes sure it gets into fans hands, I'm all for it! Can't wait for this. Very Excited.
  19. This album is notorious for being a very bad pressing, both in audio and physical quality.
  20. Aww you guys are correct, Im the idiot, not the people that dont fucking read. I see now. Me and 64674685785 people who dont use this option, we are all retarded. My apologies. Also not a fuckwad, was the guy asking what color the record was. Sounds like you have people phishing for your email, or other info.
