Does anyone know how to tell apart the original 1997 Parlophone OK Computer with the later 2008 Parlophone repress? are they both the same, or is one better than the other?

Not sure if anyone else ordered RTJ1 from that ebay link posted, but I ordered and paid for one, but received an email from the seller just now saying that he is out of stock and the listing was made in error.

I'm actually trying to order this to be sent to a US address that I pick stuff up from sometimes, but to add insult to injury, BM won't even let me enter my Canadian credit card on the site, and there's no paypal option I'm gonna email them and see what's up.

Yeah, I agree with this. At the end of the day, I'm happy that these are albums are available again, but what a strange way to repress them.

This pressing is so odd, none of my local stores even got it in stock, and Plain/Runt has been out of stock for ages. It's almost as if they pressed a ridiculously small amount of these for whatever reason. If anyone knows where to source one new, please holla.

Heads up to peeps outside of EU, Piccadilly Records has this for 18.33 GBP after tax is deducted (if you're outside Europe). That's the cheapest I've seen this LP.

Trying to figure out which stores/distros got this other than the one listed, and why it's so damn pricey.

Thanks for the replies. I don't mind the shipping price as much as the fact that they use DHL, and they might be asking for that silly brokerage fee. Good to hear that some people aren't getting hit with that.

Was wondering if anyone in Canada has ordered any vinyl from Newbury Comics recently, and what the experience with shipping was. It seems like they ship to Canada using DHL, and I was wondering if anyone had to pay extra tax/brokerage once it crossed the border?

I'm finding a lot of Thom's solo/side stuff to be pretty 'meh', this included. IMO, The Eraser is the best one out of the bunch.
