Especially since they still have copies from the 2011 press on their site for half the price. Not sure why this needed a repress.

Like... I'd love to support this band, the label has put out some quality releases, but that mega jump in price makes it seem like they'll be sitting on these for quite some time too.

We’re probably never getting our Select Start records right? I haven’t heard anything in months and have like four outstanding orders from 2020-early 2021. Has anyone received updates or records? He stopped replying to my emails. I never got Luigi’s Mansion, Crash Bandicoot, Animal Crossing and Super Mario World. I don’t even know if Animal Crossing was ever pressed, I know the others were.

Yeaaaa I have more in outstanding orders with him than I wanna admit. Every now and then I’ll get drunk and fire off a mean e-mail at him, but otherwise I never really expect to see anything in return.

it's strange and sad that this band could stay afloat in the cancel culture.

I saw them in Vienna in the mid 00's at Give it a name festival with TBS, UO, Thursday and Emery and besides they were pathetic and awful, aftershow underage girls were literally queueing up to french kiss the singer douchebag, we tried to break that up with taking photos and he was mad as hell and yelled at us (even the girls too) and he invited all of them onto the tourbus. It was soooo disgusting.

There could be a whole thread devoted to this guy’s awful behavior. Pretty much all of those Epitaph/Rise metalcore ass bags were/are really scummy and had no business being around underage girls ever. Anyone remember Emmure?

Been meaning to share that article somewhere. Supply and demand baby. Plants have (perhaps somewhat unfairly) increasing the cost of their services both due to raw material increases (like PVC pellets) but also so that labels might reconsider doing a press and they can get their lead times back down to regular times. I've certainly been chipping away at my new monthly purchases. Use to grab like 4-6 things a month, now it's closer to 2-3 to keep under my $100 a month budget.

Ahhhh, THIS makes sense. Definitely a bummer, like you mentioned, but supply and demand is what it is.
