Who is The Tower and The Fool:What started as a songwriting project created out of heartbreak led to the formation of alternative folk rock quartet The Tower and The Fool from Providence, RI. Despite the band’s roots in the Boston music scene of the 2000s, Frontman Alex Correia, bassist Bryan Donahue, drummer Brad Caetano and guitarist Chris Capaldi bring a refreshingly old school Americana sound to the alternative rock scene. The band self released an EP in late 2010 before signing to Run for Cover Records, on which they have since released a two song EP XIII (October 2011) and their full length How Long (April 2012). How Long evokes a sense of self-evaluation and a Bukowski-esque skepticism as Correia wistfully sings of love lost and the finite freedom of youth. The band quickly gained local attention in New England, having recently been named Rhode Island’s Best Band of 2012 in the New England Music Awards. They are currently working on new material, due out in 2013.

whoa a repress of orion songbook!?  this is pretty hard to find, thats awesome.

im disappointed, i got both athletics albums and i would think that with the time and care that go into special touch sensitive jackets and hand folded things with wax seals etc, that they would ship the LPs outside of the jacket to avoid the raging seam splits like i got.  oh well, "its all about the music" except when it isnt

okay, what was the first release that was able to capitalize on the idea that people would buy more than one copy of the same record.

i think youve hit upon the exact reason why most people want to take offers on items rather than provide prices.  its very hard to figure out value, because it is invariably higher to the seller than to the buyer, in most cases.

a new record by a great band that costs $15/16 shipped from the best label going isnt enough huh.

yes and the sticker looks very similar to the subpop one thats on all of their releases, just make sure you see the word LOSER on it

guys this package is amazing.  not just the pressing but the overall production, down to the best packaging ive ever seen with a record (admittedly i ordered two so maybe i got the deluxe packaging and shipping).  this puts most everything else to shame.
