This is going to be the first Baroness album I don't buy. It has a few moments, but overall, I'm really disappointed with the effort.

Had my 'Shine' copy arrive on release day and honestly, they've nailed every facet of it.
The variant, artwork, layout and signed insert are all spot on.
 
Really enjoying the album so far and feel like it's only going to get better the more I listen to it.

Fuck the prices on the new reissue. There's no reason it should cost that much even in today's market. Thank god I don't feel the need to add any more copies of Isis records I already own to my collection. 

It's the ISIS mosquito logo with a starry background and said 'Reissue Sept 5th"...forget the time...it looks like the IG story has been refreshed since and now it's down. 
 

I think a lot of people are experiencing this. The mock-up being bright blue is not helping. They should update the image to the real things to help people, and I'm sure ease up on their customer service. 

If you only had one - it would def be hard to know without investigating .

Same. This also happened with Wish last year I believe. Initially released on RSD as a picture disc, then months later on good old black vinyl. Exactly how I expected.

The MOV version is the one to own. Both this version and the Walmart version sound pretty thin.

Good thread idea, I've toyed with the idea of making something very similar a few times in the past.  It'd be cool if people try to comment on the post above – for example, I've never heard of Cosmo; forgive the laziness, but what genre would you classify them as?
Here's where I would keep the chain going if I had myself one of those light-bulb moments recently.  If it counts, Big Ups' Before A Million Universes was the last record I played [earlier this week] where I knew it was good, and that I should be throwing it on more... but it still clicked especially hard.  One of those moments where you throw an album on hoping that it'll scratch the itch you've got, and it ends up delivering in spades for the mood you're in.  I think that kinda' counts.
