haa.. i really have no clue what the records are made of but there are a couple heat lamps on the machine to soften it up while the needle is cutting it. the low frequency hum comes from the vacuum that sucks up the fibers that get cut away from the blanks.. i tired to make it as quiet as possible, but i think its only really noticeable in quieter parts.

i was def worried i was going to get out there and it would sound like shit, but pleasantly surprised it was the opposite. it's loud, clear and the machine cuts in stereo which i read a lot of others don't

yea took a trip to germany in january to learn how to use it.. the guy said i'd have to fly out there for a class in order to get one. it was a fun adventure.. i won't only be putting out lathe cuts going forward, but this gives me a chance to work with some newer bands i think sound cool without having to lay out a ton of cash and hope it sells through.

wow thanks guys for the support! i've have about 20 cut already, wasn't sure how fast they'd go... but i will be cutting and shipping the rest as they are finished. since they're cut in real time, should only take... forever.. haha.. but yes want to get these out asap hopefully all done and shipped this weekend. thanks again for everything
