I enjoyed parts of Oceania and on the whole I loved Monuments to an Elegy. Shiny and Oh So Bright did literally nothing for me though...

Like Cyr.... But LOVE The Colour of Love. Sounds fresh, which I don't think I've said about a pumpkins release for 10 years. Already 100x better than anything on Vol 1. Really hope they haven't put out the best tracks first and were treated to a killer album

Ahhh music is so subjective. First Impressions is not only my least favourite Strokes albums but one of my least favourite albums of all time. It's horrible and unlistenable (outside the first three tracks). Angles and Comedown Machine, and The New Abnormal are infinitely better. And of course, their first two are flat out masterpieces.

Damn. Hopefully somewhere in Australia gets the indie version. I have all the coloured versions of their other records be devastated to miss out/have to pay flippers on this one

What's everyone's thoughts on Dance of the Clairvoyants?

250 left. Seems the sales have slowed. Not even 7am here in Australia though, should be a few Aussies that wake up and snaffle a few. Be very surprised if there's any left in 5 hours. This album is awesome though, very easy purchase imo

This is my favourite release of his since Little Hell. Really solid. Astronaut is comfortably the worst song on the album and probably my least favourite City and Colour song of all time but outside of that this is pure bliss

Interesting. I don't think there's a bad song on it. LA Girlz and California Kids are definitely up there with my all time favourite Weezer tracks though

The White Album is so confusing. I don't understand how a band can put out 4 exceptionally mediocre releases, then one of the greatest albums of all time, and follow that up with pure shite for the foreseeable future. Like how.

This album is so criminally underrated it isn't funny. One of my all time favourites. In saying that, it was pretty much universally praised amongst critics and the rest of the music industry, just slagged by fans that wanted frogstomp 2.0

This album is OK (only had 2 playthroughs), very much in line with what Billy was doing with Oceania and MtaE. If anything, based on early listens i probably put MtaE slightly ahead of this and Oceania. If you thought that the inclusion of Chamberlain and Iha was going to reinstill the Gish/Siamese/Melon Collie sound then you're going to be bitterly disappointed. But most importantly, you probably need to accept the fact that bands change and evolve with age and they'll never sound like that again...
