  1. sucks, was really hoping to see this all play out on there
  2. what ever happened to (a disscussion) thread? EDIT: R.I.P.
  3. Yep, its selling for $2,000,000.00 on the bay
  4. yep, buyers remorse is going to hit hard when they finally find out
  5. poor bastards.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Deja-Entendu-Brand-New-2xLP-sealed-vinyl-Your-Favorite-Weapon-Devil-and-God-/191534240349?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c9854925d
  6. Or just bring a random record, put it in a paper bag and toss it near the crowd. I would imagine some Jingle All The Way TurboMan shit would go down.
  7. I actually really like the EP, check out this article http://www.abc.net.au/triplej/musicnews/s4196052.htmThese are basically b sides with exception to Preach and Aerial Love
  8. I just grabbed the pink, there were less than 20 left when I added it to my cart last night.
  9. Revisiting this album again tonight and it hit me. Daniel, Chris and Ben were 19/20 years old when they wrote/recorded this record. If that doesn't blow your mind. Emotion Sickness is a masterpiece. That song alone would be difficult for seasoned songwriters to write. While we're on the subject, they did Diorama at age 23... ridiculous.
  10. I don't know why, but I find this funny considering you'd be playing a $20 LP on it
  11. does anyone have any pressing info on the non-RSD release of this?
  12. Part of me wants this to keep the collection going and support Mike, but I already have this on black and blue. Think i'll wait on this for now
  13. To be honest, I'm not even going after this boxset. I'm really only interested in the Ocean Beach LP (I'll buy separate when its released in the summer) but for some reason this listing just bothered me. Maybe it was the screen grab of his 'purchase confirmation' Flipping will never be stopped, but to me its a dirty occupation. Sitting around all day snagging up rare items for re-sale. I get it, I just don't like it.
  14. Agreed. I understand everything behind it, and agree he was nice about it but it still bugs me when I see it going on. Those 7 copies could have been snagged by people on this thread who are still on pins and needles hoping to get a shot. is what it is, what are you gonna do
  15. Here was his response: Won't happen. I have never had to refund anyone in 15 years for failing to get a product in hand. I am playing it safe with this release, offering up only one of my seven copies in advance. Just wondering, though: The distributor price on this set was $112. Online retailer prices were $150. That s over a 33% markup. After eBay and PayPal fees, my $250 starting price nets about $210. That markup is almost exactly the same (actually less, given that I m already paying interest on the copies that I ordered). What s the difference? Bars charge over 100% markup on liquor, yet people pay it because they want it. If someone doesn't want to waste a bunch of time trying to track one of these down, why shouldn't they be able to pay for convenience? I know your position is a widely held one, but I've always found it kind of odd. I can t imagine storming into a Wal-Mart and complaining that they re charging more than cost for the items on their shelves. - natiahs So he's justifying markup on a markup for convenience sake, while securing 7 copies of the same box-set. Also, it's not even a BIN $250, it's a starting open-ended bid $250.
  16. Can't leave a comment, but PM was the best I could do
  17. I know it wasn't intentional, but I just have this image of you as an immigrant Mexican field worker making that statement....
