  1. i should have known that isis boxset would likely be pressed overseas. i guess ill have to see what it includes that i dont already have because im sure thatll burn one hell of a hole into my wallet.
  2. haha, nice. i guess there also already repressing in the absence of truth but i dunno if id get it seeing as how i already have it on violet. maybe, just maybe.
  3. damn, yeah i just bought the red sparowes - at the soundless dawn 2xlp repress on there too.
  4. pelican - city of echoes 2xlp poison the well - versions 2xlp (make it happen virgil!) all of the mewithoutyou lps that are supposed to be coming out pygmy lush - bitter river lp apparently robotic empire is repressing isis - panopticon which i already have but im curious to see what they do with it this time around. i guess im an isis nerd.
  5. you have good taste. where did you snag a colored copy of that cult of luna record? i have it on black.
  6. i saw one of these go for like 400 bucks or something crazy on e-bay. i dont know what colors are rarer than what though.
  7. saw this at a local record store the other night. looked nice.
  8. verydistro is this way as well. they have lots of stuff that is usually considered out of print still lying around.
  9. yeah i got a record from interpunk shipped in a flat rate priority box that was probably twice as big as the record itself with no bubble wrap or paper. the record was warped pretty badly and i was bummed.
  10. generally, i dont mind paying the shipping cost from bluecollar because pretty much whatever it is they are selling that i want (something from hydra head) is quality so it doesnt bother me to much. but a media mail option wouldnt be bad. deathwish and robotic empire are solid.
  11. this will destroy you - young mountain 140g cursed - one - repress old man gloom - seminar II - gold red sparowes - at the soundless down - clear w/ silver smoke
  12. interpunk is clueless when it comes to packaging a record. revhq has good service as does verydistro. bluecollardistro is fast but i wish they had an option for media mail shipping. ive ordered from 29north a few times and they are pretty slow, but its ran by greg from hot cross so i guess hes on tour a lot.
  13. ebayers? i think the rainbow boxset looks very well put together but i could never put down that much money on a single record. a bunch of records? sure.
  14. yeah id just be happy to have bless the martyr on vinyl but a boxset would be awesome.
  15. the white/green looks awesome. i have the silver colored vinyl which obviously goes very well with this record but yeah that white/green is definitely sweet. too bad i ordered late.
  16. i dont like picture discs much either. if they came in jackets (similar to how level plane did it for the isis - oceanic repress) id probably think its cooler but if i had a choice, id take the standard press over picture disk. with that said, i think my dillinger escape plan - calculating infinity picture disc is pretty cool and i thought the shai hulud picture disc represses were decent. still though, id prefer the regular presses.
  17. i entertained the thought of purchasing this for about 30 seconds and then i realized i just cant justify spending 40 bucks plus shipping on a live album even if it is an import.
  18. if you could find out who is doing the other two, i'd be ultra happy i *think* its burnt toast records but i cant say 100% for sure. i think i actually read that on this site though in one of virgils updates on the main page awhile back.
  19. i dropped $70 on a converge - jane doe 2xlp which in hindsight was probably a pretty good deal. i dont think i could go any higher for any record ever.
  20. ferret tends to just license their releases on vinyl. with the amount of cds they sell, i doubt theyre too concerned with pressing lps. forge again was trying to get the licensing for all of boys night out's releases and apparently they werent big on the idea at all. with that said, im just glad theres the every time i die boxset and im really hoping virgil's talk of doing a poison the well - versions 2xlp comes true. id love to see misery signals - mirrors on vinyl as well.
  21. reviews are reviews. the album is still pretty solid for what it is (though far from being as good as the fire in our throats). still, i will be buying the 2xlp whenever it comes.
  22. all 3 of mewithoutyou's tooth and nail releases are being pressed on vinyl. gilead media is doing catch for us the foxes for sure and i forget whose doing the other two but its definitely in the works. whoever said the new coheed album and glassjaw--good calls on those. nice to see people in agreement on a norma jean boxset. virgil, ya gotta make it happen!
  23. im still clamoring for a norma jean boxset similar to every time i die's... or at least bless the martyr on vinyl would be nice.
  24. someone may have already suggested this, i dunno, because i didnt read all the replies BUT if you do 20 and have copies left over, you should enter everyone who buys a copy of the record into a drawing and determine the winners prior to sending out the preorders and whoever wins, ship them a test press with the record as a nice little surprise/gift and announce the winners afterwords. nice little incentive to preorder the record, i say. round 2 records did this with dead hearts - bitter verses preorders and even though i didnt win, i thought it was a cool idea.
