I think people have really under-estimated the lack of fucks given by T&N/SS in regards to vinyl. We can thank broken circles for taking the time and care to release a lot of their back catalog and its funny to me that a 1 man operation can release a record more efficiently than a huge label that contracts their webstore to a 3rd party. This whole thing reads like "fine, just do a pressing and get rid of these people that keep bugging us about it." now its "oh shit, we can make some money. Well here comes the landslide folks." but hey, cool that people that missed out will get a copy with another pressing. Here's to hoping they buck up and press the chariot LPs.

was hoping cult of luna - salvation would be there but no such luck.

first two albums are good. third one is decent. everything else is shit.

think of all the ways you could spend $200. then think about a horse the band record. im pretty sure the answer is no.

not really. but to be fair, the releases were excellent quality so there is a trade-off. most of the releases on the label were great, and in most ways i respect their uncompromising approach in regards to how they released physical product, but the reality is that hydrahead releases are more expensive than most other releases. not all, but most. the economy has not been great for quite awhile now and id say in consideration of that, there's been a surprisingly low amount of notable label closures that i can recall. clearly, charging $8 - $10 more per LP does not necessarily keep you any more afloat than any other label.
