I love it when just standard black is the most limited variant. Academy Fight Song did that on their KDev and Brand New pressings and it made me happy. This does too. As does this release in general.

Anyone want to overpay for original pressings of all of these albums? These new pressings sound like the version I want to own. I'm just crazy enough to get rid of my OPs for something of this quality.

I'm sort of purposefully pacing myself for this very reason. Don't get me wrong, when I do sit down to play I can lose 6 hours easy, but I try to really only do that once or twice a week. I have Fridays off and no one else I know does so that's usually my day in the wasteland.

Yea.. To expound upon my previous reply, Disney is treading a thin line with these reboots. They want to cater to fans and produce quality movies, however they aren't going to sacrifice mainstream appeal for fanboy fantasy. Most of these crazy plot lines the diehards are proposing or speculating are just simply not going to happen. Don't get me wrong, an intricately woven, backstory-dependent plot twist would be amazing, but would leave a general mainstream audience, without much real knowledge of the backstory (aka, the majority of movie goers) scratching their collective heads. There will be at least one big "reveal" in VIII for sure, but it's definitely going to be one where the casual Star Wars viewer can (without referencing the internet) say, "ok, I get that." The trouble with all of these crazy theories is that they are essentially fan fiction, and there have been some really good ones, some that I would love to see played out on the big screen. But then, when any or all of these meticulously detailed fan theories aren't the actual twist and, for example, Rey really is just Luke's daughter after all, people will get all pissy and say that the movie is crap, Disney is ruining Star Wars, blah blah blah. I don't necessarily want to defend "easy" or "lazy" filmmaking, just hoping that at the end of the day we can get past the fact that they aren't making Star Wars movies for the people who have clung to 30 years worth of possible canonical material and just enjoy the fact that they are making decent, entertaining, enjoyable Star Wars movies again.

The wife got me a matched set of Lollar "Peter Green style" low wind imperial pickups and a 50s style ES335 wiring harness to replace the stock guts in my Washburn HB36. I cannot wait to hear how my baby sings. She was all bummed thinking my presents were boring this year ("you just got two chunks of metal and some wires"). I could not be more happy though.

All true. Go in the summer or on a break when there aren't as many students. Bars are less crowded, easier to get around, and the locals come out to play. There are some really awesome people in Athens

I can vouch for the ATL. The Athens Wuxtry is 1000% better than the Atlanta one, if you do a side trip to Athens (do it), don't miss LoYoYo stuff. Absolute gem of a record store. A national treasure. The big names to hit in ATL have pretty much been mentioned, but don't sleep on the little hole in the wall shops either. There's a little place in Avondale Estates called Sunbrimmer that has an incredibly well curated used collection (new stuff is virtually nonexistent though). There's an amazing corndog restaraunt across the street too.

These guys are so fucking good. The hope and future of the alt-country genre IMO. Nice guys too. Live From the Australian Country Music Hall of Fame is phenomenal too.
