  1. Sorry to bump an old thread, but does anyone know where one could find one of the recent blue/red boots floating around? Or can anyone who has one speak to the quality? Is it worth my time? I'm not happy about potentially going down that road, but a repress seems less likely with each passing year.
  2. Stop! We will all receive them One by One. Maybe get 8 Full Hours of Sleep before you start to worry. USPS is in a Paralytic State right now. Because of the Shame over this, I don't think they are updating tracking so well. Don't Lose Touch though, I'm sure they are Searching for a Former Clarity when it comes to getting back to normal. It's all of these Shelter in Place orders that are Slurring the Rhythms of getting our records. For now, just Turn Those Clapping Hands into Angry Balled Fists, stare at The Ocean, and we will get through All This(And More). But seriously, I got mine from the AM! store on 12/26. My label was created on 12/10 in Dallas, but it did update right before I got it. It was nothing...nothing...nothing...out for delivery. Yours is out there!
  3. Solid meh after a few listens. It really just made me want to listen to Folklore again.
  4. I got my mystery test press today: Trover Saves the Universe. I don't know anything about it, so I don't know if I'm excited or not.
  5. Anyone have a copy of the Halloween III to sell for right around $35ppd? A trade could possibly be in order as well. Let me know!
  6. Ya'll done twisted Scruffy's arm. The red has a pearl shine to it that hits just right.
  7. My copy was just delivered in California. Good times Update: The shipping packaging is top notch and a new method I haven't seen before. The records came out beautifully!
  8. I'm still holding off ordering a copy in hopes that singed LPs show up at indie stores like the CD. I dare to dream in 2020.
  9. Call me when there's a Zeitgeist bootleg or even an official release. Same for Mars Volta. Though I would rather give MV my money than Billy. I'm sure he's doing fine with all that cafe money.
  10. Scruffy isn't buying your "I don't have time to check my email" if you had the time to write "I don't have time to check my email" here. mmhmm
  11. I was somehow fast enough to get a test press this time. Fingers crossed for some goodness.
  12. I'm currently love-adjacent with the hobby. I decided against getting this because I personally don't think it is worth the shelf space and the times I will actually feel like spinning it. Will I buy a copy down the line for $10 if it becomes widely available? Maybe.
  13. So bummed I missed this. I really wanted to pay $25ish for 13 minutes of alternate versions of songs I think are already pretty perfect. I would be even more bummed if I knew that the four songs were spread over both sides of the album. This way I could ensure that I would have to jump back up to flip the record over just as I was able to get comfortable. 2020 strikes again.
  14. I love sales like this to fill the holes in my collection. $100 worth of records closer to "completion."
  15. I would like to publicly retract my previous statement. I decided to give the album another listen which led to another and another and another... I am fully on board and cannot stop listening to it. It's great! You win this round, VC.
  16. I would love another solo album or even a collection of the music he does for his brother's films.
  17. I just need a copy of Year of the Black Rainbow now. Still kicking myself for passing on a $30 used copy at Amoeba a few years ago. I am so smrt.
  18. I wish I could get into new music from this band. 1372 Overton Park was the last passable album for me. I'm happy y'all are happy though.
  19. I read through a number of pages and have some ideas, but where are y'all having the most online success for RSD titles? I only want one thing(Pepper like the user above), but my store didn't receive a copy and I'm not traveling to SF for one record. I will be searching around on Saturday myself, but any other help is appreciated. I mean, that's the whole point of this forum right?
  20. I went with the Matador splatter because it was the cheapest(and I could include the Muzz LP in my order). I barely care about the color/splatter anymore because I see the spine of the record 99% of the time anyway. What have I become?
