I come to the thread every so often thinking surely SOMEONE has picked up the black pressing of this and has commented on sound quality...yet nothing. Nada. 
 
 

Gotta say, I bought the CD for the car, and it sounds pretty awesome. It has a clarity I wish the vinyl had.

Considering how uninspired their previous effort was, I'm kind of in hesitant to pre-order. Time To Die didn't get much time under the needle.

Good job lads. I think this might be the first time OP didn't throw a tantrum after a bit of light comedy. I'm guessing his German "windex" is probably much closer to being safe to use than ours. Actual windex is full of chemicals that just stick inside the grooves and dry. Ruining the record.

On a serious note, I didn't come up with that by myself, my local vinyl store recommended it, seen them do it as well, and I've been cleaning my vinyl (old and new) with Windex for 2 years now, never had any complaints, they actually always sound(ed) great afterwards. 
 
Soo idk what happened on this one, must've used a different brand than all the other times. Either way, can I get any honest ideas on what to do with this one, I suppose there's residue on it, any careful way to remove that?
