  1. I'm glad there is a locked groove before it so i don't accidentally hear it again.
  2. Anyone know if these are pressed and ready for shipping, or am I about to have another some things don't wash out experience?
  3. need this shipping is prohibitively expensive for me tho. cheapest untracked and super slow shipping brings the total to $44usd - $65nzd kinda funny that its cheaper to buy off ebay, from people who bought it specifically to flip at a profit than it is to pay kingsroad shipping prices
  4. thanks for this, didn't follow rsd this year but spotted your post and picked one up arrived today in new zealand.
  5. vegie bar in fitzroy, this place is great too https://www.facebook.com/pages/Vegie-BarOfficial-Page/214730075237542 https://www.zomato.com/melbourne/vegie-bar-fitzroy/menu
  6. yeah that place is great! i think the whole chain of loving huts are run by some cult hah. theres a pub near there called the peacock inn which has pinball machines too and carwyn cellars is just down the same road a bit further.
  7. check out missing link record store upstairs on bourke street. heaps of good beer. go to beer deluxe at federation square for a bunch of NZ and aussie beers, terminus hotel, mrs parmas (amazing food and all beer from victoria state). carwyn cellars, slow beer and catfish (has pinball) are good too. foresters bar often have punk gigs and always have good beer on (and the pizzas are good too). aussie breweries to look out for will be moondog, mountain goat, boat rocker, evil twin, and tons more. nz breweries you will find around there will be panhead, tuatara, epic, parrotdog & garage project, all good stuff. tons of vegan food in nortcote/fitzroy, and everywhere really - where abouts are you staying? lord of the fries is ok, but if you or your partner are vegan you will find tons of better places https://www.minotaur.com.au/is on elizabeth street and if you are into tv/pop culture type shops you will enjoy it there.
  8. I have one of the /5 variants of the first press of fortress I could be keen to get rid of too.
  9. Arrived in New Zealand yesterday, in perfect condition. Cheers!
  10. Damn missed this yesterday - keen for a blue/white if anyone ordered a spare
  11. blank space reminds me a lot of this masterpiece https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCEohYELD30
  12. great thread, good to see its still delivering (or not, as the case may be). still hoping for sysi one day, or at least to hear the bemis cover!
  13. Wouldn't worry, we're use to it. Average price for a pre-order from kings road or SRC is usually $34USD for me, after shipping. That's still less than the price that you pay in stores here tho...
  14. I've ordered hundreds of records from America, shipped to New Zealand, and the only one that has ever gone missing was the one time I bought off someone on VC.
  15. I could just buy another one I guess, not sure what I'd do with this one tho (they refunded me the full price including shipping and didn't want me to return it)
  16. I'm still looking for anyone who may have received 2* 1979 and 0 of tonight tonight in their box.
  17. Thanks, that worked and bought my order to only $20 incl shipping to New Zealand.
  18. I hit them up, they said that they cant replace it due to a 'technical error' at their end, but they are going to refund me the full purchase price.
  19. This arrived yesterday from amazon.ca - just opened it up before realising there were two of 'tonight, tonight' and missing 1979. Guessing they wont replace it now that it has been opened. So if anyone ever sees this who has two 1979's, pm me edit: actually just realised that the spines are covered with a black insert when still in the plastic, so there is no way to notice the problem without opening it, so maybe they will refund me.
