  1. Im not sure, but I think thats only common in USA where bigger parcels are left on the doorstep.
  2. ok, my mistake guys But Im glad I was proven wrong, gatefold, yay
  3. Pre-order at Ruminationrecords ebay site (never heard of them btw): http://www.ebay.com/itm/SCOTT-WALKER-The-Drift-Reissue-VINYL-2LP-MP3-BRAND-NEW-/290717987569?pt=Music_on_Vinyl&hash=item43b02472f1#ht_1483wt_1348
  4. Like all Nine Inch Nails CD-s are dikipak, all Sigur Ros records are non-gatefold. I think they are going to continue the tradition, unfortunately.
  5. I guessed that number due to a few reasons. One obviously being the extras for the band/friends of the band/people from the label etc etc and the other being extras made in case there were more stores that would have signed up for the listening party before the deadline. I don't know, if there's more than 10-15 of a test pressing, it's just another variant to me. I think you guys are confusing "test presses" with "promo copies" - completely different things.
  6. I did get an email that said they had plant issues which caused the delay, hopefully mine shows up ok. The black copies you got, have you tried spinning them yet to see if they cause play issues? This has been the case with Scum and FETO too, so I believe all of them have little scratches like that (some more than others). Fortunately they dont affect the playback (at least on FETO they didnt, I got to try others). I believe its like that because of how the plant stores or ships them - records are probably in a pile without sleeves and rub against each other (the ones on top get the least damage), thats the only reasonable explanation I can think of.
  7. Hmm, I just received three copies (one "corrupt flesh" and two "black") of Harmony Corruption and Im not that terribly happy with them this time. What kind of pressing plant are they using? All the recent black coloured represses of theirs have a huge lot of light scratches of them, my both copies on black have thousands of scratched on them, literally. And Im not exggerating. On coloured vinyl they are not so easy to see, probably, but on black its awful.
  8. Since they want to promo the "Yellow and Green", I suppose the Blue and Red wont be back in stock for quite some time.
  9. Really? I've ordered from them twice with no problems. I live in Europe, so I guess thats where the difference comes. But yeah, everything (and I mean E V E R Y T H I N G!) I have got from them have been poorly packaged and have had bent corners and split seams.
  10. Cool but unfortunately I have never received anything from RAREWAVES which isnt fucked up in the mail. Unfortunately all Sigur Ros sleeves are super fragile too.
  11. If you write them, they will write the value lower on the mailer (or maybe you dont even have to write them). Ordered the new Mastodon Remission repress last week and they wrote the value as 3USD, they did write the shipping price though. That should raise some questions for this package if the shipping is ca 27 USD and the valuse is 3 USD...
  12. Replaced 200 blank white inner sleeves today with polylined sleeves. Good times I order mine from Nuclear Blast, 100 pieces was 23.99 euros. Shipping was 16 euros, lol.
  13. I remember that Relapse had this weird "tax" what they added to every order shipped outside US. They clearly have this policy right now too, but its not written out like that anymore, it is hidden in the shipping price.
  14. I have ordered multiple copies from amazon.com, amazon.ca and amazon.de. It would be good to know if there are differences between the USA and euro presses, so I would know which two should I cancel
  15. amazon.de is another option for europeans, but I guess they are getting the regular black, not even the 180g black.
  16. Its certainly is their most memorable album - the songs are all different and very straight forward, at least by Meshuggah standards, IMO The live show - saw them the first time at a festival last summer, what can I say - it was I N S A N E
  17. New song up here: http://pitchfork.com/reviews/tracks/13534-lenfant-sauvage/
  18. Limited to one copy per person. https://www.burningshed.com/store/stevenwilson/product/65/3797/
  19. the blackone isn't a repress. it's the european version, but the same press, i think. Yes, the black one is the european first pressing and the clear is the first USA press. Second pressing doesnt exist, yet. I know, because I have both. Edit: the difference between USA and European pressing apart the colour is that european pressing also has CD-s and the records are heavier.
  20. Well, I listened to it with laptop first, and what a utter garbage... Then listened to it with my large speakers, and... this stuff was borderline genius, seriously - miles better than Heritage and even Grace for Drowning. And I believe this album isnt mastered, so the dynamics are insane.
  21. Wow, yes please ask if its in mint condition Sorry if Im sounding like a jerk or smth, Im just looking a pristine copy of this
