  1. Pre-Order is live for the new Whores LP. Not sure where the /250 is sold yet but the other two variants are available at this link. First Pressing 1000 LPS 250 Clear with Blood & Bone Splatter (WHORES.) 350 Teal / Black smash (TGIC) 400 Clear with Teal & Black Splatter (TGIC/RETAIL) After RUINER, CLEAN, and GOLD... Atlanta's Noise Juggernauts WHORES. return with a fierce new LP WAR. American Muscle to drown out the American Dream as it careens into the ditch…. Brazen rhythms, serpentine riffs, walls of feedback, and howls of contempt… As rowdy and boisterous as it is anxious and savage. 10 Tracks recorded, mixed and mastered by Ryan Boesch (Fu Manchu, Helmet, Melvins) at Candor Recording - https://candorrecording.com/ A battering ram of a live band, slugging like a doomsday clock towards midnight. Catch Whores. Playing live all over in 2024!
  2. I had no expectations after Villians, but I’m enjoying the record the first two times through. Nothing is blowing me away but there are some parts in songs that I really, really love.
  3. “Welcome to the Internet” says the guy who doesn’t know how to search the internet’s most popular vinyl site created to answer this exact type of question.
  4. First single Emotion Sickness is out there. Not my speed personally but production felt beefier than Villians.
  5. I though that announced they owned the Mariachi El Bronx rights, not everything. Call me crazy? The reissues in 2018 were $30 or maybe $35? Not $50. That is pretty gross for a single LP but with a book and better packaging in 2023, I guess I can see it. I bought it anyway, so I’m part of the problem!
  6. When you enter into a business arrangement with an organization that puts out statements like: Funko continues to invest in its strategic growth initiatives of maximizing the core business, diversifying the revenue base, growing its Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) channel, and extending its reach into international markets. You’re bound to get forced into maximizing profit at the expensive of creative. This was inevitable but hope the creative folks down there land on their feet.
  7. Second what Scott said! For Plasma they’ll run the tube through a centrifuge to separate plasma and blood, but generally it is just like giving blood. You sit with a needle in your arm for about an hour. Easy peasy. Your first session will usually include an exam and intake process so leave some extra time. The financial component varies by location and organization. If the goal is income it’s worth researching that if you haven’t already.
  8. My wife got into the pre-sale, spent four hours in the queue, finally selected seats, only to have site hang at checkout, twice! It is what it is. Hope folks here are able to get tickets somehow and best wishes to parents trying to explain this fiasco to their 9-13 year old kids right now.
  9. Can someone help me navigate these Sault LPs and EPs? I like the group but feel like they have a dozen different physical releases and they are always priced at like $50. Are these ALL new? What’s the best way to get at the back catalogue? If anyone has thoughts let me know.
  10. I’ll buy it from you if you want to just order a black. Save the exchange hassle. Let me know.
  11. I have the reissue from a while back but have always thought about grabbing a boot for the OG cover so I’ll keep an eye out locally. I’m always amazed out how widely opinions vary on their albums. I’m in for everything from Lullabies back, but nothing from Era forward gets me too excited, despite great songs on those records. I saw them in Montreal in the Lullabies tour and it’s still a top 5 show for me, which I think is where my love for Lullabies comes from.
  12. I’d like to see the methodology here. Maybe Colorado is the state most interested in siding or fetish wear.
  13. I’m not sure this will get too many folks stoked since there has already been a bunch of limited reissues. But as someone who has constantly put off grabbing this due to its ubiquity I’m pretty pumped.
