The Bluths are back.

If they hadn't also just announced losing over a million customers I think they probably would have waited. I wonder if the movie will also be on Netflix or a theater release? -

What's up with the new ebay payment delay?
BuzzersonKillwell replied to patron's topic in Everything Else Message Board
maybe i should have phrased my question differently. basically is it cheaper to sell on discogs or ebay? say for a $100 record on both sites (99 cent auction on ebay with no reserve or BIN), how much would you wind up with in the end from both places. minus paypal fees. eBay, by their admission, takes between 10% and 12% of a sale. Discogs should be cheaper, but typically takes longer to sell. -
Anybody excited for Skyrim?

What does that mean? I have a feeling I did something similar. I die a lot. -
I'd love to see some clarification on this. To me it reads that businesses with broken or out-dated business models can't adapt and think if they can just prevent things from moving forward money and jobs will reappear. If they spent half the time they did figuring out new and innovative monetization strategies as they did fighting for their old models we wouldn't be having this conversation.

The shady guild missions are some of the best ones! Karma is for real life. Skyrim is more like porn. A place for unspeakable acts with no rules or consequences. At least how I play it. -
The beauty of 12 episode seasons is that even if they can't make the first half interesting the second is almost always good. Hoping we hit the apex of the arc soon and the episodes stay good.

Anyone else having trouble at the beginning just exploring the world. I'm about 8 to 10 hours in (DAMN! YOU! REAL! LIFE!), and admittedly not sticking to the main quest, but I keep getting my ass beat my bears and sabre cats. I did whup that bitch with the Nettlebane though. Fuck her. -
You can sign an e-petition, and it won't hurt. Often they give other lawmakers a tool in which to demonstrate that there is indeed plenty of people opposed. Petitions with a large volume of signers do get noticed. You can also learn a little more here if you are interested. http://americancensorship.org/

Large Format Printer Help
BuzzersonKillwell replied to jasonskanks's topic in Everything Else Message Board
Kinkos will run stuff Tabloid (11" x 17") or Tabloid Extra (12" x 18"). Not saying they are good printers, just that they are widely available and have the capability. -
The Protect IP act in the senate (The SOPA in the House) would allow the government to block access to websites if copyright holders can prove infringement. Sometimes they will block BEFORE infringement is proven. Anything you see today isn't really blocked, this isn't even law yet, it's more of a show of solidarity against the bill. Make no mistake though, this is bad news.

There is so much nerd win right here. -
That's a pretty large family! It's the south. They do it a little different. Good episode, Andrea is the fucking worse. Is she tolerable in the comics?

I'm playing as an Imperial. No idea why, I think I just wanted it to look like me. I was only able to get 8 hours in since launch. Jealous of some of you guys right now. -

How is the Fresh Hop? Never heard of it.

This sort of nails it on the head for me. After every episode or plot arc I think that while it was good, I wish they had focused on "x" instead. As you said (T.V. vs. comic) the writing seems very tasked focused. I feel like they have their major arc and then a bunch of minor episode to episode stuffs but no continuity between the two. The smaller items rarely seem to forward the larger story so nothing of consequence happens.

Hill Farmstead and Lawson's Finest Liquids are killing it right now. If you or anyone makes it to VT make sure to try those. I know this one is hyped to shit but had my first this year in San Francisco. It was great.

You're probably right, it'll continue to be a bit of polemic because at the core it is a character driven drama that happens to involve zombies and isn't paced like a basic cable show. The problem I have is that it isn't a particularly great character driven drama. More like "The Killing" and less like "Mad Men". That said, it is always just good enough to keep me watching. Damn them.

Single player only. Decent main quest with lots of side quests involving the standard fare. Thieves guilds, wizards guilds, finding rare weapons, etc. It looks pretty deep and if your an RPG fan you'll probably like. Typical complaint is the combat system is monotonous, but that didn't ruin it for me. I'll be picking up at midnight tonight. Nerd style. -

That's a good point. Looks like he does appear in the next episode.
