Though it does not save a poor mastering job, 180g does in fact have advantages over 140g vinyl (durability, less warping, etc.). Even if it was just a marketing hype, it would be all the more reason to complain as it seems to be one of the main "advantages" of the /1000 Edition which is still $50. So if TMR used a marketing hype as an excuse to command another $20 premium on an already inflated price, all the more shame on them.
