  1. Thanks for the info. Hopefully being pressed at Quality Record Pressings like New Myths was.
  2. It is part of the 2018 Artist in Residence Series, featuring new/previously unreleased Rob Crow-related material. Subscribers receive digital downloads of each release on the 15th of each month, with a vinyl box set to follow in November. Per the O.Y. in Hi-Fi post above, supposedly only two of the releases from the series will be released more widely beyond the box set. https://www.joyfulnoiserecordings.com/products/2018-artist-in-residence
  3. We don't know yet. Only Optiganally Yours - O.Y. in Hi-Fi has been released so far. Albums are being released digitally once per month on the 15th, March through November, with the physical box set to follow in November.
  4. Enjoying the first release quite a bit, Optiganally Yours - O.Y. in Hi-Fi. Has a bit of a bossa nova vibe throughout. And the "hi-fi" in the title is appropriate - cleaner mastering than the previous "lo-fi" stuff. I guess they got a hold of the master Optigan discs.
  5. Hmm... I've got Jeopardy on 1972 and remember it sounding pretty bad. The MOV press is still available at a good price: http://www.importcds.com/ancient-melodies-of-the-future/8718469535989
  6. I'm no professional photographer - but I used a 50mm lens on a tripod with the vinyl on top of white sheets of paper and then cleaned them up in Photoshop. This is the first time I've tried this - I've since found a larger, more contiguous background (so that there are no lines showing in the clear vinyl images) and I still need to experiment more to remove the reflection of the tripod in the black vinyl images. Any tips are welcome.
  7. Here is my Trouble in Mind Records LP collection (I took all these images myself and stitched them together). These are all of the first pressings/mail order editions. Thought this one might be interesting because most of the records are pressed on randomly mixed "trash" vinyl, so each record within a pressing may look slightly different or may even be a completely different color scheme.
  8. Just ordered from Amoeba. Not sure what color it is, but I imagine this variant will be readily available at "indie" shops. http://www.amoeba.com/iv-colored-vinyl-lp-black-mountain/albums/3811693/
  9. Yeah, not sure what those comments are all about. I have all three variants and they sound great. Keep in mind, this is about a 50 min album cut on two LPs - could have easily been crammed on one LP.
  10. Worth a read: https://www.facebook.com/rob.crow.1/posts/10206455011547780
  11. Haven't had a chance to listen yet, but saw GOLDEN JG '15 in the runout yesterday - so it looks to be re-cut by John Golden.
