back to back posts from people who have the record in hand and could have spun it and commented on the pressing quality, but decided to instead comment before spinning it. first guy is the best, asking if others have quality issues when he has a copy in his house waiting to be tested.

Anyone know if The Bird and the Bees Interpreting the Master's Vol 1: a Tribute to Daryl Hall and John Oates, was scratched from this years list? Can't seem to find it on the RSD website...

EDIT: Contacted BullMoose and it did indeed get canceled. They said to look out for it maybe next month...

So I've seen "VNYL" around on Facebook ads or whatever, never paid much attention to it till tonight when I discovered this thread. All I can say is...
    What a wild ride!
From the Kickstarter backers paying $24 for dollar store records, to Nick Alt clearly using his 36K to launch his now-dead store. Oh and when the backers couldn't return their records because VNYL realized that was illegal, incredible! Then the pivot to new records you could just order yourself off Amazon for less money. Now with the Crosly-owning, groove-touching, teenage YouTubers  (who are either clearly being paid and not disclosing it or trying real hard to get free records) crying over a Mumford and Sons album they just OMG LOVE SO MUCH (yet never bought).
It's 2am I made it half way through this thread (after starting with some of the later pages) but to top it all off, I only just had the realization that this is the same company that's launching the wireless turntable.  This is the thread that keeps on giving. Thank you all!

songs are fine to listen to, not disagreeing. also not saying there is anything wrong with liking music for the sound alone. but just because someone has "punk roots" does not mean they have ever been political, lyrically. i was making a comparison between artists who have always been political, and those who have never been but suddenly found the courage in 2017 (its not courage at all). Others might disagree, but I would argue 2017 has seen the biggest wave of artists-gone-political than the start of any year in recent memory. There is something to be said for that, and its not just the recursive "#dumptrump". joining a million voices already saying the same thing is not  political courage, and its definitely not punk rock. end rant, sorry i just completely lose some of my formerly favorite artists when they start writing this stuff i dont care about.

im tired of many artists that I listen to, who managed to stay admirably apolitical for decades, finally finding their political "courage" when it has never been easier than to be anti-Trump in 2017. boring. not courageous. feigned political acumen. I might not agree with many of the views of anarchist punk bands that have been political for decades, but they have far more say than Gorillaz and James Murphy in my book. anyone else miss music about real life? politics isnt real life

Here is my Trouble in Mind Records LP collection (I took all these images myself and stitched them together). These are all of the first pressings/mail order editions. Thought this one might be interesting because most of the records are pressed on randomly mixed "trash" vinyl, so each record within a pressing may look slightly different or may even be a completely different color scheme.

I made a comment that I wasn't into the band, but thought they picked a good venue to do a live album at.  There was zero negative in my first post.  Your anal glands got super hurt over that comment and posted a douchey reply.  You're the asshole that took offense over nothing, so I think it's time for you to lube up your poop chute so it stops getting so hurt over a little shaft.

You clearly like going into threads of bands that have no interest to you, now go make a concerted effort to try and find yourself a life.Lemme guess, you're butt sore because this band can sell 2k copies of a vinyl record w/ no problems and your favorite shitty teenie bop punk band that nobody other than a few dorks on VC gives a shit about cant even sell 500?

Just got the MOV pressing in the mail from ImportCDs - it was about $27 shipped. As stated above, great pressing - quiet, flat - definitely beats the original, which I also own.

The poster included is an exact replica of the poster from the original UP issue on newsprint paper.

Hello, I am contacting to complain about the automatic cancellation of my order # xxxxxxxxx
The cancellation of this order without my consent is completely unacceptable. It is not the responsibility of the customer if a seller offers a product at an inaccurate or incorrect price. It would be fair business practice to honor the price and complete the order as originally placed to further ensure complete customer satisfaction.   I'm eagerly waiting a response to this matter and my correspondence.   Chris xxxxx
