Could you give me a little more info on the Cave In - Beyond Hypothermia LP? Look at the back of the sleeve, it should be numbered. What is the number? And when you say "blue" do you mean the sleeve or the LP? There are at least 6 different major sleeve variations, but the LP only came on gray and purple.

I think Oakland's post hits the nail on the head. I think that most of the arguments in this thread are focusing on the periphery, rather than the problem at the core...that we are much more reliant on oil than we think. Unless we are willing to quit buying computers, cell phones, records (since we are all on a vinyl collector message board), and anything else that has plastic in it, we will need to drill for oil (or find cost effective, viable alternatives). There is one reason that BP is drilling for oil offshore. Money. They can make a huge profit. Wind and solar just don't offer that (at this point).

Randy, I would totally take this threat seriously. You might not sell 1 copy of this record if this is kept as a kickstarter project. By the way (to the above poster), when kickstarter is used this way to press a record, it is just an advanced sale (nothing more, nothing less). The concept is easy. If you want this record (or want to support Fifteen or Solidarity), support the project. If you don't, that is okay too. However, this is the way this is going to happen. I can't understand how you guys think that everything has to be done on your terms.

I am currently teach business and computer classes (CAD, Video Production, Graphic Design, Web Design) at the the high school level. Additionally, I hold Microsoft Certified Instructor and Adobe Certified Instructor credentials. I also had a 5th wisdom tooth, and they used a non-stitch method in which they packed gauze in the holes where the teeth were extracted. Mouth tasted like shit for a full week no matter what I did, until they removed the gauze. Other than that it really wasn't that bad.

Erik, Where did you see them on the tour with Avail? I happened to catch the show at the Emerson Theatre in Indianapolis, IN and they walked off stage after the sound guy (same one?) kept messing with the levels in the middle of the first couple of songs. The guys in Avail had to convince them to come back out and play a few more songs for the crowd (so they only ended up playing 6 total). Before their set ended they told the crowd that we should demand our money back from the venue. Anyways, Avail played an extra long set and completely kicked ass after this. Interesting night to say the least.

Edit: That is the reason I loved it so much. Additionally, I would suggest that everybody watch "The Final Sacrifice" at least 10 times in their lifetime.I have the majority of the episodes from the KTMA (public access) to the last season on Sci-Fi on DVD through trading. It was one of the best written shows on TV during that time period.
