Regarding the issuance of PayPal refunds for partial shipments... we have been actively processing and posting these refunds through PayPal.  As the order volume becomes more manageable on a daily basis, the window between shipment and refunding will reduce significantly (usually it happens the following business day).  Many outstanding PayPal refunds from last week's sale have been processed and posted within the last 24-48 hours.
 
As you're probably aware, we're just dealing with A LOT of orders.  If you have any Customer Service-related issues, just shoot us an e-mail at [email protected].  Response time during standard business hours is usually pretty quick.  We'll answer the best we can.
 
For those that have inquired about Wave #2, we'll probably come back with more in early December, as we're still "digging out" from this sale, and we have Black Friday/Cyber Monday/etc. right around the corner.  
 
Thanks again to all for the orders -- we appreciate your business.  To those disappointed, we are sorry that we were unable to meet your expectations, and will most certainly strive to do better the next time around.

It is odd that so many people are bummed that the records that they didnt really care about are the ones getting shipped. Why order records you dont care about? Just because it was a good deal doesnt mean you should buy them if you dont really want them.
 
Yeah it stinks that orders werent done in chronological order, but a two man operation (in the vinyl section) got over 4000 orders in a span of 36 hours, mistakes are bound to be made. Everything I get I will be pumped for, and what doesnt come Ill just go back to looking for at a good price. Besides, it will be fun to get it in the mail and to see what shipped.
 
It isnt like oldies isnt refunding you the stuff that doesnt ship, they arent pulling an RJ or Virgil so simmer down folks.

Just got an email saying my order was canceled. They lost my business for good.

I ordered a pizza online from Domino's. It's been 15 minutes but it says it's still baking. Should I be worried they're overcooking my pizza? Will they just cancel my order if they do?

If they were enthusiasts that appreciated the format, they would sell records cheaper than they are.
They are entrepreneurs that found a niche to capitalize on.

SRC may have had their fair share of fuckups with the way they've handled certain things, but please keep in mind, they're not some company run by industry veterans with vast personal knowledge and experience with how things were commonly done back in the golden age of the recording industry. They're enthusiasts who came to appreciate the format well after it ceased to be something appreciated by or made available to the mainstream. It's a bit of a learning process for sure but they're doing what they can to support the format. If you are genuinely interested in seeing records survive as a viable release format for another 125 years, you may want to reconsider stopping your support for them entirely. They're not some huge faceless corporation, and a little kind feedback would probably go a long way further than you might expect. It's not like they don't want to give customers what they want or do the best they can.
