  1. As someone who wasn’t really familiar with the Killers outside of their singles, it definitely peaked my interests to hear about the subject matter and writing of this album. Growing up in a small Mormon town in Utah (20 minutes away from Nephi, the small town this album was written about), I definitely have some shared experiences with the album. I’ve only listened to it a couples of times, but I like it quite a bit. There are at least one or two songs, like Vega mentioned above, where it feels like Brandon Flowers is leaning pretty heavily into his Springsteen influences, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing to me. I’ll have to get around to checking out their other albums.

  3. Went for the CIC black/blue. I'm excited that they're coming to Salt Lake in May. I'll definitely be there.
  4. It took a few listens to get into this, but I’m really liking it. Very cool album.
  5. That’s awesome. I’ll have to pick up a new copy of a few of those. I’m assuming the phrasing “nearly all of our back catalogue” and the fact that Antenna is missing from the picture means that it won’t be included. Which is a bummer because that’s the only one I don’t have. It makes sense though, being on a major and all. Oh well. I’m excited to see what a new album will sound like as well.
  6. Oh wow, another album already? I thought Ricky Music was solid. I haven’t returned to it as much as the previous two, but I still enjoyed it. Looking forward to this new one.
  7. This album is actually pretty solid. A bit all over the place, but it has some enjoyable songs. I haven’t really revisited their last couple of albums much, but I’ve already listened to this one several times.
  8. I was reading about the Philadelphia/live stream shows for a while and almost completely glossed over the A->B reissue. That's really cool that they already have the black copies in hand.
  9. I'm really excited for the TETA remix. According to the band, it sounds like a completely new album. I picked this up with the slipmat. It's not my favorite album of theirs (the 3 album run of TETA, Potemkin, and Supporting Caste is their best, in my opinion), but this is a super nostalgic album for me. Also, I'm surprised that the colored copies are still available. Didn't the other 25 anniversary colored records sell out pretty quick?
  10. I can't seem to get it apply the 15% coupon. Does anyone know what the coupon code is?
  11. I'll have to check this out. I wasn't into his last album as much as I was his first album, but these singles sound promising.
  12. He was a little vague in his answer, but I asked Mike Almquist, their manager, on Twitter a while back about doing the rest of the catalogue in this format, and he said something to the effect of "that's the plan." So yeah, even though I have all of the original special editions, I would definitely re-buy all of their other albums to match this format.
  13. This is a solid ass list. I'll probably pick up quite a bit of those.
  14. That’s interesting. I like PB and JB, but I like Lucy the most out of the three.
  15. Yeah, on Will Yip’s Instagram stories. I didn’t win, but it’s cool that he was able to raise so much money.
