It sounds like they are breaking things up as far as time and different items being sold in different lines and at different places at TMR so they can avoid the whole single line camping out thing. We'll see. I hope it is still a lot of fun.

Considering that I'm planning on going to TMR this year, today's announcement was quite a disappointment.

Roman was serious when they said it rubs off easily with a little effort and a thumb. Got all residue off of each cover like that. No damage done whatsoever.

I haven't found it to be quite this easy. The eraser is a no go however as it also kinda removes the sheen from the surface of the cover. I'll keep trying to get it off with thumb and fingernail. After I get it off, I'm putting these in sleeves because the inside of the dividers are still sticky so this will continue to happen without some kind of intervention.

I bought a good, soft art eraser to see if I can carefully get the residue off of the covers. I'll post with my results.

Did these come with download codes like one of the emails said they would? I'd like to have the remasters in iTunes.

Ditto. I was really looking forward to higher quality digital copies of these albums than I currently have.

Will we need to file any kind of claim to get the correctly labeled records or does it sound like they will just ship them automatically?

I was thinking about this myself. Re-reading the email they sent out last night, it sounds like they are aware that the problem is widespread enough that they will automatically send them out. I believe with the way they seem to be handling this, that if they need to know who to send replacements to, another email would be forthcoming indicating the process for getting replacements.

I thought this was still readily available from the original pressing.

Just got my shipping confirmation. Seeing how fucked up this whole thing is, I'm not excited at all about getting it now. Not how you should feel when you spend $250, in my opinion.

I have the most recent MacBook Air, an iPad 2, and an iPhone 4S. I hardly ever use the IPad. When I first got it, I thought I would use it all the time. I think if it were me, and I were buying an iPad now, I would probably go with the retina display New IPad. That being said, I would most likely wait for the mini iPad to come out with retina display, a feature most believe will be part of the refresh expected no later than the end of the summer. I think it would be worth the wait.

Agreed. The closest show to me is in Vegas, but I will be out of town anyway. Hopefully they don't rape on the commodity that will be the Loser edition of this record. That being said, I can totally see this being upwards of $40 when the presale starts next week.

All of the dates are on the west coast, except for the one in June in Brooklyn and the ones in Europe. Right.

If they sent out a presale already, I am sure most of the good seats are going to be gone. Who knows, though. Hopefully not.

All of the dates announced so far are on the west coast. I wouldn't be surprised if more were announced in the near future. If you are hoping for a NYC date, you haven't missed anything yet.

I suppose he is referring to the location of the headlining dates announced so far, all on the west coast, primarily scheduled between the two Coachella weekends, then a few dates overseas in May.

As big of a Fall Out Boy fan as I am, I honestly checked the date because I thought this was an April Fool's joke. I will probably buy this to keep my collection intact, but I hope the rest of the album sounds better than this.

Looks like the Loser version of this record is on red, white, and clear vinyl. The band sent out an email this morning including presales for their upcoming shows. The presale tickets have the option to bundle the Loser edition with your ticket purchase. Hopefully it is because they are including shipping in the price of the bundled ticket, but adding the triple LP to your ticket order adds more than $40 to the price of the ticket.

My blue/gold split arrived today from deathwish. Very well done with the album packaging and all. Glad I decided to pick this one up. Definitely not disappointed.

Was going to order the pink, but it sold out on me. Glad I waited.

Although I'm sure these aren't cheap to produce, I can't help but feel the sting from a $21 10".

I'm sure I'll get over it when this arrives.
