I am 1000% with you on the weight, it only reduces the chance of dishing or warping.  However, my understanding is that Black, Clear, and White can all be "audiofile" quality depending on the process and the store specifically states that it's undyed PVC, so in theory there is no audio quality loss due to the colour.

As an aside - the deluxe version of Pale Horses that I own always makes me laugh because I've never seen a vinyl mock-up be further off from the final product.

Yeah, there are producers who I'm slanted against that made good records, the only way to really compare is to see if they've produced similar records in the past.  Luckily he did Pale Horses, so y'all have nothing to worry about.  That album sounded fantastic.

Album is fantastic. I need more time to feel it out but damn have they outdone themselves. When an almost hour long record sails by as easily as this one you know it's special.

Wow, I just finished my 3rd listen. I have to say I am so impressed with the growth, intelligence and versatility this album shows. Sonically the album shifts in so many diverse ways but never feels fractured or scattered as it still maintains its cohesiveness. They took a lot of risks on this album and I think they really came through on the other end on top. Going to listen to this through out the day and investigate it further, but this was my initial reaction. Fuck yea Foxing, great addition to an impressive catalog of your already existing discography!!! The hype is real.....
