The majors raise prices on vinyl all the time, this isnt anything new.
Also, I dont think the list of titles increasing in price this time has been finalized yet.

You've probably got to press record and play together but does it play anyway?
 
If it doesn't play when you press play with a tape in or go into record when you press record and play together with a tape in then the belt might be gone which is pretty common with older units.
 
Nice machine though so worth saving if it's something as minor as the belt.

I 100% agree. Yeah, the picture I quoted earlier made me laugh. But VC has the biggest stick up their ass even now more than ever. It's a new label and everyone has to have their turn shitting on them when they don't even know anything about the label really.

another page goes by and i still don't get what's the big deal. they're poking fun at flippers. it's also a pun on flippin' as a substitute for the F word. honestly, the versatility of the word is pretty clever.
 
i mean, let's get real for a sec: will this label ever actually press anything that's worth flipping? no, probably not. (no offense, guys.) and: do we truly think they are perpetuating flipping any more than flippers themselves? or labels with their limited runs and bullshit colorways? (granted, they claim they'll do limited runs, too. then again, i guess VC expects every independent label to be able to press unlimited runs of black.)

If you are their friend you should convince them to change their name. What would you expect coming to VC and presenting a label name and concept that seems to promote flipping their product? Most people on here hate flippers. I personally don't give a crap if people flip records, I just think the name and presentation needs work. If they put out good music, I'd probably buy it.

Label is run by a couple guys I know.  They are both super nice....maybe try listening to the music before just ripping into them////

Interested to see if this is a repress but just happy to hopefully have a mint copy. I mist listen to this soundtrack at least every other week

Dang, that's closer than it is for me! I think the closest hot topic that sells vinyl is like 3 hours away from where I live. The struggle is real.

I always do. Saying "at cost" means don't sell me the record for 40 dollars that you bought for 25.

After these reissues come out the only thing OOP is A Shipwreck In The Sand. Highly underrated.

I love when HT gets blamed for stuff like this. Like they have anything to do with the records other than ordering them at price X and charging price 2X.
