  1. If you don't mind a copy on black, it's still widely available, including directly from the band's webstore. http://hellomerch.com/collections/la-dispute/products/rooms-of-the-house-12-black-vinyl
  2. Current setup: Pro‑Ject Debut Carbon Sherwood RX-4109 Definitive Technology StudioMonitor 350's Just moved into a new house, and have a large basement for my music room, so I'm looking at upgrading to some floor standing speakers. But first I need to replace my lousy Sherwood Receiver. Looking for something in the $400 range that can power some floor standing speakers to high volumes. What are people using in their setups that you would recommend? Not too too many options for speaker shops to demo stuff near me, only a few brands have authorized dealers. Any advice on a few amps to look into would be much appreciated.
  3. Current setup: Pro-ject Carbon Debut Sherwood RX-4109 Definitive Technology 350's Moving into a new house, so I would like to upgrade my shit amp. The Sherwood powers off when you turn the volume up too much, which doesn't make sense. It's rated as 8 ohms, as are the 350's, and my cable connections are all solid. Can't figure that out. (Help?) But anyways, looking into an upgraded amp first, may eventually get some floor-standing speakers next. Would like something that can bring some noise, as I now have plenty of room. Probably looking at a basement setup. Anyone have a solid, powerful 2-channel amp they recommend at or under $500? Looking at the Yamaha A-S500 and the Marantz PM6005 so far, based off of comments in this thread.
  4. Just grabbed one of these yesterday, ended up paying normal full retail ($399) but got it at a retailer in the area who were awesome. They unboxed it, showed me proper configurations and setup, and while that guy reboxed it, another employee took me upstairs to the private high-end audio room to show me some $20,000 tables and speakers that cost more than my house and such. Great experience there. (The Speaker Shop in Amherst, just outside of Buffalo, NY)
  5. Check out this thread, should be able to answer most of your questions: http://boards.vinylcollective.com/topic/78600-150-audiophile-turntable-this-could-be-interesting/page-40#entry1749475
  6. Got s/t in today, and it sounds delicious. Couldn't care less that it's not gatefold, the records sound great. Stoked to finally cross this off my list.
  7. Ah shucks, slept through this, would have grabbed one. Have Anhedonia on vinyl, but that's all. Loved these guys.
  8. Good to see they're honoring free shipping for anyone who at least put in an order over $35, despite what ships.
  9. Wouldn't pay more than $10 for this... the studio acoustic versions for this 10th anniversary were shit.
  10. Deafening what?? And yes I've heard Golden Child and it's much different but I love progression within a band. I'm sure I'd love their early stuff, just as I'll love their future releases.
  11. Saw them live about 2 weeks ago and the vocal change did not even slightly bother me... the energy and songs were all great still. (Now if only we could get Jimmy to stop dropping F Bombs every other word between songs like a 14 year old trying to act cool.)
  12. Yeah for sure don't cross the guys at all ha but I'd love to hear anything they've recorded. Both EPs and Wilder Child I absolutely love.
