he is being presumptive and an ass. he has no idea what Warner is charging. he thinks he does, but I am guessing he has never been in a band who has had their music owned by a major label. if I am wrong, and he does have a band that has gone through the exact same situation, then I my friend, would be the presumptive ass.

He was probably just finding a good way to use "presumptive ass." I wouldn't take it personal.

I would never pay the price they are asking, but I find it really interesting you think you have any idea what Warner is charging them. fact is, you have no idea what Warner is charging them, so don't be a presumptive ass.

I don't mean this as a duck statement, but is this band still relevant?
I remember when their first LP came out and thinking it was alright. I knew they got big for awhile in certain scene but guess I haven't kept up with that stuff in like 10 years.

today i got a frank sinatra "in the wee small hours" record and its an original pressing from 1955 and its in good condition, how much could it be worth considering its an original?

Well as much as I enjoy listening to my records, I enjoy collecting records as well. It's a completely separate hobby and buying records can satiate both, depending on various factors. A lot of Milan's other releases are cool variants, which is why I said that... and as for the cover art- the illustrated one is objectively cooler.

The copies that are being sold right now have nothing to do with the ones that were held hostage in the warehouse. Those were priced a little higher because it was sort of a fundraiser. I'm pretty sure that the copies right now are being sold for less than that.
On the other hand, Mylene Sheath sells OOP copies of their own releases for double or more every Thursday and no one cares.

I'm really sorry you still haven't received your GOTG. I promise it's not intentional. We were intentionally vague about shipping times because we were concerned about the problem we are having, which is that some of the screen printed jackets arrived in less than stellar condition. We had some reprinted and we are going to send the final wave of orders out as soon as they arrive from being scored and glued. I'm sorry you've had to wait so long, but I promise it's not because we forgot!

I understand where you are coming from, really. I do. It's cool. But I'm buying vinyl for music, not art.
