  1. 2 hours ago, Kanye West said:

You'll all be relieved to know that I got the blue so I won't have to kill myself.

Also, expect it to be EASY to get. My friend works at a record store in Sweden and she said they are getting plenty of copies for the store.

I'm devastated that they're going to be playing my least favorite venue ever, though.

Can you stop playing up suicide like a joke all the time. You're how old....

  2. Sucks that they'd send two exact same packs. I'm always wary of things like that with grab bag deals. For just one pack, the Relapse grab bag seems pretty decent, though. I got a number of things I've been putting off buying for a while and, on the plus side, 2LP releases didn't count for 2 of the 10.

    Christian Mistress - Possession

    Opprobrium (Incubus)- Serpent Temptation

    Goblin Rebirth - Goblin Rebirth

    Bloodiest - st

    Zombi - Cosmos

The Great Tyrant - The Trouble With Being Born

    Coffins/Ilsa split

    Zombi - Spirit Animal

    Zombi - Shape Shift

    Windhand - Grief's Infernal Flower

The last four are releases I own already, so if there were actually other releases in packs, I'd be interested in trades.

And to add some deals, Best Buy has two of the Melvins solo EPs for $6.99 each right now.

  3. Bought a black copy from deep discounts for sub $30 during a 15% off period and it's definitely worth that, at least. The envelope jacket is a bit of a pain (although you shouldn't have to worry about seem splits), but I'll probably just keep it unhooked in the future for easier access to the records. Otherwise it's sounding amazing. Can't wait to see this stuff live next month.

  4. It doesn't have No Cure + it isn't on two discs because they wanted to be very faithful to the OGs.

I get that, but with White Light they're already adding a track as well as varying several tracks by 30 secs to 1 min. It was just a small critique of what I thought would have made the reissues perfect to me. Like I said, I think it turned out great. I'm really happy to have them.

  5. They seem as good as the Filth reissue. LoL doesn't have No Cure for the Lonely, but you can tell sound quality would have been sacrificed if they had squeezed it in. It also has a picture sleeve instead of the nice poly ones that Filth and White Light have for some reason. White Light is also mastered a good bit louder than LoL, probably due to the side length differences. I wish the box set had come with the cd insert with the extra art, and LoL could have possibly stood to have been spread to 2LP. I'm happy with how everything turned out nonetheless.

  6. Raffle numbers are announced. I didn't win, so that's a better chance for all of you.

Ready for the most controversial raffle drawing in the history of the Record Club? Good! Winners will receive a test pressing of the latest version of GRAVE026. Email me to claim yo prize. Best of luck.

    Whoomp! (There it is)

  7. I know, that rsd is festival of overpriced records but this:

[NEW] Rise Against Eco-Terrorist In Me 7" SRP: $11.98

shit is rediculous. I understand if it would be BIG BAND RARE OOP REPRESS RECORD NOT AWALIABLE FOR OVER 9000 YEARS.

But this is bad song from bad album by good band released last year.

Want to buy 7" from TRUE PUNX band for $12?

I expect punk rock values from the band whose label mates are Fergie and Imagine Dragons!
