This is a long time coming, and after taking all the pictures and putting everything away I realized I put albums 2 & 3 out of order, because that's how they were on my shelf. Not gonna let that ruin my day! This is 100% complete other than a Black-Eyed Snakes 7" that may or may not have ever been sold to the public.

It will be very hard to make a case on anything that isn't aligned with the alt-right movement's worldview if any information from mainstream propaganda is suppressed/dismissed and "mainstream propaganda" is defined as literally anything that disagrees with the alt-right movement's worldview.

Maybe in Scandinavia, but not really in the US. We do, however, have a long history of black churches being subject to racially motivated attacks:

    From Consouling Sounds Facebook :

It has been exactly 10 years that Battle of Mice released their groundbreaking album “A Day of Nights”. The band, consisting of Josh Graham (A Storm of Light, IIVII, ex-Neurosis, ex-Red Sparowes), Julie Christmas (ex Made Out of Babies), Joel Hamilton (Book Of Knots), Tony Maimone (Book of Knots, Pere Ubu (Official)) and Joe Tomino (Fugees, Dub Trio, Peeping Tom), was heralded as a post-metal supergroup. Battle of Mice unfortunately existed only a few years, but their musical legacy is tremendous. The album, previously released on Neurot Recordings, never saw a vinyl release. For this 10th anniversary, Consouling Sounds wants to pay hommage to this seminal album by releasing it on vinyl for the very first time. But, we decided to go above and beyond. Instead of simply re-releasing “A Day of Nights”, we couldn’t be more happy to present “All Your Sympathy’s Gone | The Complete Recordings”, collecting all of Battle of Mice’s music on a lavish gatefold double vinyl set.

More info on pre-order deals and the release date TBA.

Nabbed the tour color when I saw them this past weekend in Tampa. They were amazing live...as well as the other bands on the bill. With all that I've has going on lately in my personal life, I couldn't help but get emotional and broken down I cried during "No Rest For The Weary"...older song but it hit me hard.

I was only able to secure an extra copy for my buddy Chuck who couldn't hit the show as his son was sick.

This board apparently can't get enough soundtracks. Well, here's the soundtrack to an imaginary film, by a band that is better than your favorite band. Just got a notification for this via Bandcamp, traced it back to the Temporary Residence webstore where it appears this has quietly gone up for sale. Not sure if it's a preorder or not, but there is black & colored vinyl.

At the turn of the 21st Century, sandwiched between two of their most iconic albums – Secret Name and Things We Lost In The Fire – Low released The Exit Papers as part of Temporary Residence Ltd.'s long-running CD subscription series, Travels In Constants. A sparse suite of six mostly instrumental pieces composed for a film that never existed, The Exit Papers still stands as Low's most haunting and experimental work. Originally released exclusively on CD in a scarce edition of only 1,000 copies, Low helps celebrate the 20th anniversary of Temporary Residence by finally releasing The Exit Papers on vinyl and all digital formats for the first time ever.

If you've never heard this release, it's really good. Instrumental and moody as hell.

The colored ones have a thin layer of shrink-wrap on the sides that you can carefully slit to extract the records to peek at.  I kind of hope other labels start using a similar identifier; takes a lot of the guesswork out of just staring at the jacket and wondering.

(btw...Stag, Stoner Witch and Houdini are original presses. I'm still holding out for special editions of the Third Man reissues before I buy them)

I get what your saying. However I think your slightly missing the point in this instance. 4ad as a record label, has built a reputation not
solely on the quality of the artist music output. They have a clear track record of some of the greatest bands, ever to commit music to vinyl - Bauhaus, Cocteau Twins, The Birthday Party, Pixies, The Breeders,Dead Can Dance etc etc etc. But what has always set 4ad apart from the vast majority of labels, is the way they presented their artists work. The physical delivery, i.e the artwork and the presentation of the music via the visual medium of the album sleeve, is an integral part of the experience of owning a record from the classic era of 4ad.
I have been a follower a devotee an obsessive collector, of all things classic era 4ad since I was 15 years old. When  I first stumbled across Head over Heels by Cocteau Twins. Not only did the album blow me away, but the art work that presented it, was so different and unusual.
So owning a piece vinyl from 4ad although it is about great music first and foremost. Its also about the joy of experiencing some quite visually wonderful too. So i think that, its perfectly reasonable to express disappointment. Given that the "mock up" presentation is so radically differing from the final product that has been delivered.
