An iPad is not a computer replacement. I did use it to replace my Macbook, but I still have a desktop computer. If I'm doing serious computing I'll use my computer, but any leisure activity, reading, surfing the web, etc... it's ALWAYS my iPad. I don't know how I could live without it. The battery feels unlimited, which is the biggest thing for me.

I've only been to New York once, but I had a great time. I went for the final LCD Soundsystem show, but mainly just did a lot of walking around and eating. You MUST eat here: 53rd & 6th Halal Cart Go see the Highline, that's cool. Keep eating.

Here are some areas you want to check out: - The Southside: This is more happening in the evening, as the place is basically a ton of bars, but there are a lot of shops to checkout in the day. Just walk up and down, while you're there stop at Primanti Bros. -- this is THE Pittsburgh place to eat. Sandwich + fries and coleslaw, wash it down w/ a Yuengling. - The Strip District: Basically a ton of markets and street vendors, good food all around to eat, maybe not the best stop for you though. - Lawrencevile: I live here, say hi. Hah, couple of cool bars and restaurants. There's a record store down here too 720, they focus on hip-hop more so. Oakland: This is the college part of town, not really too much to do down there, but there's a record store called Wicked Discs: http://wickeddiscs.com/ What type of food do you like? I'm fine with them being different, I anticipated that, but I feel the show would have been a lot better if it stuck close to the source material and made minor changes ala Game of Thrones. The Governor is probably going to be so far from how he was portrayed in the comic that I'm not the least bit excited for it. I'm curious, but I'm sure it will pale in comparison and be quite tame. If they do, good on them, but I'm weary.

How could anyone hate Brienne?

Remember when what's her face said the Apple Store 'scammed' her? Has the definition of the word changed? Did someone not tell me? Someone should make a 30-minute documentary on the word scam so that I can easily make a decision on the topic. SCAM 2012

These aren't really minor changes though. That screen on a mobile device is out of this world, especially w/ them retaining the battery life. It might not seem like THAT big of a feature because the current one still looks pretty good. No one calls for scams when computers are updated w/ new processors, RAM, etc...

I bought the 16gb wifi version. I'm having a little bit of buyer's remorse right now though. I have the money, but I don't NEED this. I have the iPad 1 and it can be a little slow at times now, but there's nothing wrong with it. I guess I have a few days to think about it though.

I feel like the show is just trying to be different from the comic now. I don't even know if I care anymore.

I'm having issues with a pair of Swan M200MKII speakers that I purchased. The issue: My speakers are omitting a constant static / white noise from the right speaker when powered on. The static is constant, regardless if anything is plugged into them or not. The hum is loud enough to hear over quiet parts in songs and quite obvious when there is no audio playing. Speakers: Swan M200MKII's purchased from The Audio Insider http://www.theaudioinsider.com/product_i.... roducts_id=184 Backstory: I purchased these speakers a few months ago and they were fine for a few weeks, then this static / white noise started. I contacted The Audio Insider and they were very accommodating and offered to repair my speakers. I received them back a month ago and they were fine, no noise. Last week I noticed that the hum has returned. I contacted the vendor again and they're saying that the issue is a product of the environment and something that these type of speakers do. I've connected these speakers to several different audio sources: 2 computers, iPhone, an iPod, and with nothing connected. I've also tested them at home and at my office and the issues remains. My question: Is the rep. from The Audio Insider correct? Is it normal for speakers to omit static like this or do I have a faulty product? This is the most I've ever spent on speakers before and I'm a bit worried that I'm not getting the best quality for my dollar.

The last time I thought about Milwaukee for a show was to see the LCD Soundsystem / Hot Chip tour. Opted not too, figuring I'd eventually be able to see them closer to home... Then LCD Soundsystem decided to break up. Luckily I got into that final show though!

I agree w/ this. They really ruined everyone in Season 2 except Glenn. Glenn is Glenn and will always be cool. Dale was awesome, now he's a boob just like Daryl.

What does this really mean though? You could say the same for almost any festival or concert these days. The only thing that was a shocker that I can recall is Metallica Fest -- that's just rather bizarre.

Cloud Nothings... sooooooooo good. I don't love the new album though, prefer the pop-punk. This lineup is ok, nothing that makes me really want to go though. I'm dying to see Hot Chip, but I can wait. Grimes and Cloud Nothings are playing a small club in Pittsburgh in March so I'll get my fix there. See you at Lolla.

I don't anything that involves Flash, so I don't really know. I'd Google around. The app Splashtop which allows you to connect to your PC ala VNC or Remote Desktop works really well and transfers sound. You can actually watch HD video with it, which is pretty wild. Might be something to consider if you can't find the true answer that you're looking for.

The women in this show suck. Do they have any women writers on the staff? Andrea is awful in this show, one of my favorite characters in the books. Lori sucks. Suicide Watch chick is dumb. Maggie is decent though. I did like this week's episode though, two solid weeks in a row.
