  1. Got my vinyl bong today, it's a solid dark red. Download code was in the jacket.
  2. I think we'll probably get digital downloads on the street date and until then we can enjoy it on vinyl!
  3. After Alfred looks up and smiles, it should have cut to Leonardo DiCaprio sitting at the table with Selina Kyle, smiling back at Alfred. But really, the ending was taken straight out of the comics that this movie was based on. Bruce leads everyone to believe he died in the explosion and starts a new life with Selina Kyle. Nolan was probably trying to avoid even the smallest bit of ambiguity after the insanity that ensued over Inception's ending. I loved the way he did it, too. I legitimately wanted Bruce to die before I even saw the film, especially after how much they foreshadowed it, but instead of being stoked when I thought it happened, I could only think about Alfred and how devastated he was. By the time the ending rolls around, after we see Alfred balling his eyes out, I was so thrilled to see Bruce alive. It would have been grim and ballsy, but the emotional aspect that Michael Cain brought the film totally sold me on the ending, however cheesy it seemed.
  4. I like some of the old Green Day stuff, never was a huge fan. I've never heard anything by the band that I hated from any era though. That being said, that song was one of the worst fucking songs I've ever heard. Like, really terrible. The lyrics are unbelievably dumb.
  5. The flipping truck was in the trailers for the The Dark Knight...
  6. Literally all those points are 100% valid, but I don't really care. Movie doesn't have to make sense. It's a multi-million dollar, PG-13 comic book movie, after all. I still loved it.
  7. I think the implication is that John Blake will keep the entity of Batman alive. I like that ending the best because Bruce Wayne's emotional journey comes to a satisfying close, but the Batman is still very much alive in Gotham.
  8. All 7"s are $3 unless it says otherwise. 10"s are $5 and 12"s are $8. Shipping is $4. I'm a little low on mailers so please try to pick up a couple things! I can get more from my local shop, but only once a week on Tuesdays, and I usually get like 5 or 6. By the way, pretty much all the Topshelf releases listed here are the most limited variants! If you have any questions about colors and stuff just feel free to ask! Thanks! 9. That bonus track rules. I have a first press but I'm definitely gonna grab this. Thanks as always Travis!
  10. Ooooohhhhh, I want a Prawn test press haha. Too rich for my blood though.
  11. I got my Swedish order a couple days ago. The records look and sound beautiful. The jackets got a little banged up on the way over though haha. It happens.
  12. All internet service providers do that, it sucks. I just moved into a new place where Verizon FIOS was my only option. $75 a month for internet or $80 for internet plus HD digital cable. I guess I'll be happy when hockey seasons starts!
  13. Converge / envy would be the greatest split ever.
  14. Stoked for everyone to post pictures of their 7"s from DW. Some of the Dropdead splits looked really awesome!
  15. Awesome, ordered from DW. I wonder if Converge's song will be on their new full-length or if it's a b-side or something.
  16. On Monday Karl from SLL said my package went out "last week". So stoked! Those of you waiting for Topshelf - I'm sure they're just waiting to have the records in hand before selling them. Either way, we should all have our copies very soon!
  17. Hopefully VC comes through with a trade list feature, but I don't want to see DF go. The pressing info is super useful.
  18. This rules so much. I got 1308/2000. Mike wrote "Nutmeg can kill you", Aaron drew a dradle, Greg wrote "I might play baseball", and Rickie wrote "BIRD IS NEVER THE WORD".
  19. Ordered this earlier, band rules. I remember when that pop-punk band of the same name put out their record and I downloaded it thinking it was new material from these guys. That record sucked. These new jams, however, are awesome!
  20. Thanks so much you guys. I'm pretty sure the digital downloads will be free soon. I don't really know, our singer/guitarist handled most of this stuff haha. If anything I'll just post a mediafire link here.
  21. Hey dudes. My band's first recordings/release just came out and I'd really appreciate if you guys took a listen and told me what you think. It's a split tape with our friends in football, etc and we couldn't be more excited. Our main influences are bands like Sunny Day Real Estate, The Promise Ring, Drive Like Jehu, etc. http://squarebusiness.bandcamp.com/
  22. Haha at least you guys only have the heat to deal with. Denton is at level 5 risk for fucking West Nile Virus right now. It's too brutal to go out during the day and we can't be outside during the mornings/evenings/nights either.
  23. Shit sucks. I'm in Denton and we haven't broken 105 yet but it's still brutal. I usually bike everywhere... I've been driving a lot this week haha.
