  1. Gaslight Anthem - festival in 2010. First row center stage amongst a really rude Muse fanbase (they sat down with their backs to the stage for Gaslight). There weren't many Gaslight fans there so my wife and I singing along to everything seemed to give them some relief. It was more fun for us than it was for the band i think. Chili Peppers - 1999 --one of the first shows back with John in a small club. Really good performance for around 200 people. No stadium antics just rocking out. Pearl Jam - 1998 --amazing performance and i had no idea that the weird guy with the floppy hat sitting directly in front of me for Mudhoney's set was Eddie Vedder.
  2. $350 on the new Replacements 10". It's autographed and for charity so that makes me feel 1% better about it.
  3. their shipping is really fast but those prices are ridiculous. I passed on it though. Not a fan of LBC.
  4. yeah it's out of 500. im surprised it's still available after a year. hope mine doesn't pop too much. maybe they pressed a few more (and hopefully with new plates)
  5. just ordered this from rev. This and "the rising tide" by sunny day were my favorite albums of 2000. Such a great band.
  6. hey now. i think hot topic is a fine institution. we bought a shirt for my daughter in there once and i was convinced that Robert Smith's long lost grandson was our cashier. that was fun. i don't remember seeing any vinyl in there though so i might actually have to buy this online.
  7. i didn't want to be one of those guys saying "hey will this be online???" but yeah i just saw where Travis said it would be.
  8. I might even brave a trip to Hot Topic to buy this. Either that or give my daughter the cash. She loves that place.
  9. The District Sleeps Alone Tonight, Evan and Chan, Transatlanticism (the song), the Sound of Settling. those are the only Ben Gibbard songs that i like. To his credit tho those are 4 great songs. His voice and lyrics don't really appeal to me much. I still think this is a great looking repress though.
  10. LOL i think a few of us are in that boat. some of the lyrics are a little embarassing.
  11. what's funny is that if you talk to a shipping/packaging guy at Sub Pop you might be talking to Mark from Mudhoney.
  12. really cool looking set and i'm a sucker for those but i only like "the District Sleeps Alone Tonight" and "This is the dream of Evan and Chan". damn I should've just bought the amazon $12 verison.
  13. i wish Vagrant would press (or repress?) Paul Westerberg's Stereo/Mono.
  14. hope they repress SOUP. a much better album IMO. Bought it the day before he died! Still remember that.
  15. if anyone missed out and has $700 or so laying around they relisted #184/250
  16. They relisted one of the autographed Replacements EP's. I read that the guy that originally bought this tried to resell it on ebay for a $1,000 starting price before it was even shipped to him (none of the 250 get shipped until March). Looks like the charity cancelled his winning bid. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Replacements-Songs-Slim-10-Vinyl-EP-184-250-/300857636226?_trksid=p5197.m1992&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D14133%26meid%3D5458096288609332897%26pid%3D100015%26prg%3D1085%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D300857636226%26
  17. Kind of lost my love for this band. I never even got through the newest record. Wasn't even bad just didn't click with me. If i sell my blue copy would i be able to recoup my $15? I know they weren't exactly rare. Let me check ebay.
  18. we have very different experiences then at Gaslight shows. My wife and I felt like the chaperones one time and we're pretty young. LOL.
  19. i like very very few Death Cab tunes but i remember loving this album 10 years ago. Forgot about this band in the past decade. i'll pick it up.
  20. lol exactly. I joined for the 7". I'll be pleased when I get it. Right now though the jury's out on whether it's an alright deal or not. I can't see myself making it to their shows anymore (young kids and I don't want to be surrounded by 800 fifteen year old girls screaming "we sing with our heroes...") so I just joined for the record. It's a learning experience for them and Infinite i'm sure. I'm glad they like PJ enough to copy their club but they're fully staffed with their own building and they don't even hit the mark all the time. and my original post was in a laughing tone. i really did forget that i joined this club.
  21. forgot i even joined this f'ing club. I paid $20 for an ugly Tshirt and a card. No shows near me yet and I probably wouldn't even go.
  22. check in and post when yours comes in. I think it said early March? I just read that they raised over $100k for Slim yesterday on those 250 EPs. That's amazing.
  23. well i woke up this morning thinking "Did i really just spend $300 on one record??" But you only live once I guess. I can't believe the people who paid $500+. Some in the thousands. Good cause tho. Definitely my favorite band throughout highschool and to have most of their signatures is pretty cool. Now i'm off to go auction off some stuff to help pay for this.
