I'm in Philadelphia (they shipping from NY), so I'm probably in the first wave to start getting them. The LP sounds great - quiet (except for the music natch) and very flat. Spindle hole was real tight, but easily fixable. The book is gorgeous. Plan to watch the movie tonight.

I have this in my hands. Got the red vinyl. Apparently they are shipping now. Looks amazing. I'd take photos but my camera skills suck.

I've got orders in with Bull Moose, Amoeba, and Reckless to fill out my want list and haven't heard a peep from any of them yet, but I figured they are still digging out from Saturday and dealing with an influx of hundreds of orders based on leftovers. I'm expecting a cancellation or 2 out of the chaos. still better than dealing with scoundrels of eBay.

Reckless seems fixed now - decided to grab the Animals 10"s after reading how good they sound around today.

price on this was steep, but totally worth it. sounds amazing

are you in NYC? if so, Double Decker is one of the few record stores I'd say is worth the drive into PA.

dang. didn't see Drive. oh well, my guess is they probably already have more orders for that than they can fulfill.

that's ridic. I literally ordered a copy of AB from Amazon UK the day before it was released and still got a copy. I don't understand what this band is thinking when it comes to vinyl.

eep. I ordered The Animals 10"s and Pussy Galore to fill out the last of my want list... haven't heard anything yet, but hoping they went through.

it's ridiculous how hard this one is to find. I haven't heard of anyone snagging it yet today. The UK reissue that came out last month is getting scarce already too.

<$20 is very optimistic for this release. the demand is there for 4000 copies - remember this original press was selling easily for $100 and this is their most popular album by a long stretch.

I'm conflicted on that because people who work at record stores love this stuff as much as we do, but they have to work the day and probably can't get out to get the stuff they want. on the other hand, if your store only gets 1 copy of something, probably shouldn't go to employees.

just got the call to pick up my stuff tomorrow woo. only thing I didn't get that I asked for was Best Coast 7".

they had Temple of the Dog and Mad Season listed as coming soon for a looong while a few years back. Mad Season just finally materialized for RSD... guess they couldn't get the rights to ToD.

they probably aren't familiar with MOV over there, but they should be. I think they released versions of VS and Vitalogy.

yeah me either. typically I get stuff on the east coast of the US within a week. hopefully it's not a new standard.

it's pretty sweet - the red vinyl is nice. I love the tunes too.

the last 2 packages I had coming from Amazon UK were beat to bloody hell. one was the new Suede LP, which took 5 weeks to arrive and was so badly damaged in shipping that the record was unplayable and warped worse than any record I've ever seen. something bad is going on in Royal Mail to international customers.

Vintage Vinyl only puts their leftovers on the site after RSD on Monday, I think. Not much chance of getting high-demand items from them.

NEW UPDATE 4/10/13: Dear Customers and Jay Fans, The books for the Limited Edition LP/DVD/Book will arrive in NY tomorrow and go straight to the Vinyl plant for assembly, then once they are assembled they will be shipped to Factory 25 for shipping.
