yeah, I mean I'm as big a Jay fan as there is and I want this done right, but the fact is they've had numerous problems with this package. I'm just anxious to get it - it was probably my #1 anticipated release coming into this year and still is.

yeah, likewise it's been a while for me too (re: Plain). the CD was always kind of quiet too, but sounded great turned up real loud.

nice. I thought the Plain reissue sounded good, but will have to get this for the new mix.

I'm waiting on 2 things from Amazon UK here in the US, both past their due date already (one is the LP of Suede's Bloodsports, which I'm dying for)... must be slow deliveries coming out of the UK this past month. Usually it's a little over a week.

I still want the Magnolia Electric Co Sojourner set on vinyl. Probably won't happen now with Molina's death, but one can hope. Maybe a set of his work that he was developing before he died.

I've gotten CDs when I thought I ordered vinyl from Best Buy - one was a Clash reissue and an Eminem Marshall Mathers LP - never from Amazon though.

I agree that $40 reissues of albums that can be had in their original pressing in the $0.99 bins are ridiculous. The "revival" hasn't gone to far on the consumer side. Once again, any trouble in the music industry can be laid at the feet of the greedy labels who think people are dumb enough to overpay unnecessarily for a release that no one was asking for... these resources would be better spent elsewhere.

yeah, I had it preordered there for a while - it's on the way to me now. I hope Takk is in the pipeline too.

I have no problems with reservations or in-store pick-up options. My local place does this for regulars, because they don't necessarily order everything on the distro list. If there's something specific I want, I tell them and they order it for me.

yeah, I didn't think I'd top last year, but it's getting pricey already. If I add Zaireeka on top of it, I'm gonna blow my budget. At 7500 copies, though, I think that one is going to be around for a long time and not needed as a day 1 purchase. trying to consolidate the day to the hardest to get stuff.

Insound lists March 19 as the new release date.

this Title Fight talk is making me feel old. I was in college when DIH came out - saw them 5 times within 2 weeks during that tour and my hearing hasn't been the same since.
