Saw him on last year's tour and it blew me away. Again. Jubilee Street and Stagger Lee are just phenomenal live. No one does it like Nick. No one.

it's bottom feeding. they are inject themselves as middle men into a process that doesn't need them at all. most of these records would sell out anyway, likely to people who really want to have them, without the flipper putting themselves into the mix. they just make it harder for everyone else and contribute to an artificial mark-up in price to make a few bucks.

A total of 73 tracks (49 of which are unreleased) are spread out across four CDs and seven 12-inch 180-gram LPs. The original album has been remastered from the original analog tapes and will be presented across two LPs. Also included are a pressing of 1986’s Live ?!*@ Like a Suicide EP, a second EP containing B-sides from the era, and 25 unreleased recordings from the band’s 1986 Sound City sessions and two unreleased tracks from their sessions with producer Mike Clink. The super deluxe version also boasts a 96-page handbound book with unreleased photos from Axl Rose’s personal archive, 12 new illustration lithos visualizing each song from Appetite For Destruction, and replica memorabilia from the era. As Swervedriver did, they didn't write a project timeline, so you really don't know when they are going to send the record to you...six months, one year?? Don't like this way to manage pledging....

Usually with a release that’s limited to 500 or less, retail gets kind of screwed on getting copies. I’ve also  seen Midhaven/Revolver not be the best distro for a lot of bands.
 
The cover for Smack Baby does look a little off. Failure style. Most major label represses I’ve come across have been this way. Not having the right files, which usually means not commissioned by the band, or shit got lost. Been 20+ years.
 
And if Grass doesn’t get any money from this, good. Fuck them. They have enough Creed and Evenesence money anyways, they should have known to do this, and a fe other gems in their catalog, themselves.

Right... but you are assuming people read and abide by a line of text on a god damn internet. As seen, even here, people can order them without any express purpose of picking them up or now trying to get someone else to pick em up for them. Say 15 people do this... that's 15% of the run, gone, on hold for someone not even attending or going to be thrown back up online AFTER the festival. 
 
I can only assume that wasn't SIgur Ros's intent, but what was supposed to be a nice treat for those willing to make the trek to Iceland, became a bloody internet preorder with no checks and balances that sold out in 24 hours.
 
I'm not really interested in these releases, but given the vinyl lovers out there, I expect some very disappointed fans during the fest when they are told they needed to preorder the festival exclusive and can't buy it on-site while they see a stock pile of sleeves behind the merhcant. 

Bullmoose doesn't have Poncier  available on the RSD link, so I wouldn't count on them having it at 10:00 today. They are usually pretty good about sourcing their copies left on the site prior to opening it up to online orders.
 
The Poncier LP was pressed at 4000 - I'm sure flipper prices will drop once the initial demand dies down.

It sounds good to me overall, but The Background World doesn't have quite the same oomph as it does on the digital version.

I thought these videos were satire until I looked at the related videos and saw a billion other insufferable reaction videos like this.
