  2. I used to be a flipper (not just with records) but now I'm just a listener. It's a much simpler and more rewarding way of living.
  3. This is a great idea! Are the codes only good once?
  4. Bummer, they're sold out, so they gave me a refund.
  5. today in the mail. Enjoy my stupid commentary! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-B9DGtlZVw&hl=en&fs=1 I forgot to mention in the video that Gary Murray's performance of "Next Time Around"...That song was originally intended to be on Starflyer 59's "Gold" album, but was released instead on the "Goodbyes Are Sad" 7". It can also be heard later on the "Easy Come, Easy Go" double CD compilation and on the "Gold" extended release from a couple years ago.

  12. And, just so you all know, Jason from SF59 has a new vinyl out with Ryan Clark from Demon Hunter. http://vinylcollective.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=74644
  13. That is epic! I know of one other person who found EMM at a Goodwill for a buck once. Who knows how that ended up there?
  14. Google. Was looking for a forum to discuss vinyl.
  15. Oh, and I should mention that there's a new release coming out soon from their recent Kickstarter project. Get this, it's vinyl and mp3 only. NO CDS.
  16. As I'm sure some of you know, Starflyer 59 vinyl can be pretty tough to get your hands on as many of the releases go for $100 or more on Ebay. Those who do own, where did you get your copies and how much did you spend? I'm particularly interested in those who own "Everybody Makes Mistakes", "The Fashion Focus", "Leave Here a Stranger", "The Drop" 7" and "Gold" I'm not here to buy your stuff, don't worry, just starting a discussion.
  17. Favorite part. Also, welcome to the new member. Where in SW Michigan are you? I grew up near the thumb. St. Joseph. Just moved here from Indy.
  18. It's a collaboration between Jason Martin of Starflyer 59 and Ryan Clark from Demon Hunter. It's entitled "Blood Red" and appears to be a shout out to the New Wave style of the 80s. I plan on picking it up. Here is the art. Here is some more info. Here is their MySpace.
  19. Thanks to all the nice folks in here. If it doesn't bug anyone, I'll keep posting my finds via video.
  20. Nice to meet you too. Is this the kind of welcome one can expect around here? I'm certain there are other places on the internet where I can find fans of vinyl. Thanks to the others for coming to my defense.
  21. Nice to meet you. I hear there's a big one coming up in South Bend.
