  1. They have just reissued a lot of the early stuff and it's all great. My personal favorite is the Scream "Still Screaming" LP.
  2. The no one above or below me thing was huge. So great to not have to deal with the bullshit that can come with apartment life. The bullshit of homeownership is far more rewarding, I even own a ride on mower!
  3. The level of just sheer stupidity I deal with on a daily level is mind blowing.
  4. It's funny how every player is a piece of shit to Patriots fans before and after they play for them. If they do the fucked up stuff while a Patriot it's "part of the game"
  5. I also wrote this in another thread, anyone who has frequented Newbury Comics might agree with me. Expect them to get worse with the cash grabbing. I grew up going to the stores. ( I have 3 in my general area and 2 in Boston which is about an hour away). The stores down in the burbs are about 90% novelty items and clothing now. It's sad because I know these stores shaped a generation, I found out about so many cool bands by blindly picking stuff up in the pre-internet days. Now when I go it seems that they are moving away from a go to place to pick up tunes to a cool place to buy fart machines and Fred Perry's.
  6. So I paid $40 bucks for a record you can get for a little over $30 with shipping included. I will eat the $8-$9 to take it home right then and there and not worry about it being destroyed in the mail. Also just to clarify, no $25 copies were for sale at this location.
  7. Yeah, just do the best you can, after awhile when you get used to costs you will naturally set budgets for yourself. I signed my papers on my 30th birthday ( most expensive birthday present ever). 28 of my 30 years at that point had been spent renting. It took roughly a year to get used to everything and its cool now, I even have some savings.

  9. Its cool, I had the day off and about 15 hours of OT pay to spend. I live near a Newbury so I like to stop by now and again and just comb through stuff.
  10. I have been in my house for almost 3 years now. I grew up in apartments so I was a little shellshocked about how much stuff actually costs. Previous tenants always left stuff behind, my mind was blown at the cost of stuff like rakes, shovels etc etc. The only advice I can give is don't stress out over everything, life is expensive.
  11. Newbury comics just released a 20 year anniversary version with it fully remastered from the original tapes. Edit link: https://www.newburycomics.com/products/nirvana-bleach_deluxe_exclusive_2_lp?variant=15265850758
  12. Arcia made Segura expendable. Phillips looks like he could be a steroid-less Braun type corner outfielder, he also has a dumb laugh but I am sure you already know about that.
  13. Also, one of the fringe perks of living in Ma is that I walked into a physical location on Friday morning and they had about 16 of these on the shelf.
  14. Grabbed the double LP reissue of Bleach on clear/black swirl. Everything from the 180 gram vinyl to the 16 page booklet and gatefold layout looks great. Highly recommended.
  15. Listening to the new reissue of Nirvana's Bleach. Its sounds great. Its a double LP with a live show on disc 2.
  16. The book lists each teams top 30 prospects. Lucas Giolito is #1 overall for the Nationals Julio Urias is #2 overall with the Dodgers with Corey Seager being #1
  17. Just got the Baseball America 2016 prospect handbook. For the first time in awhile almost all of the top prospects are positional players. Makes me wonder if we are going to see a big offensive outburst over the next couple years. Anyone else as dorky as me and read this?
  18. Also, never called anyone a bigot or say I hated god, like I said, defense mechanism.
  19. It's a defense mechanism. Every fan of goofy Christian bands defend them at all costs.
