This happens all the time! I hate this. I want a record to listen to, not to make money off of. My old boss does this. He is the ultimate hipster that has an opinion on every band. And his opinion is right (in that big head of his). He buys records to brag about them and then he flips them. FUCK RECORD FLIPPERS.

The only band I can think of at the moment that has the same energy as pg 99 would be Dangers. Dangers played a full set at my house in Vancouver, WA 6 years ago with no microphone, and just like pg 99, everybody knew the lyrics. Good shit.

The thing is I've been listening to a lot of these bands mentioned for quite some time now. I just never heard of PG 99 until recently! I really am not sure why... and that show with the cops sounds awesome!

I was listening to "by the fireplace in white" and my girlfriend told me that it sounded terrible (however she is pregnant and her favorite bands consist of The Decemberists and The Smashing Pumpkins).

I have recently started to get into this band. And I gotta say, they are AMAZING! Does anybody else here have love for this band? Maybe even see them play before their breakup?
