My buying took a huge dive last year. My current storage solution is completely filled up so I started being more judicious. Even then, I preordered enough LPs I thought for sure would sell out instantly only to see them for like half price like 2 months later that I sort of just stopped pre ordering all together. Prices haven't helped either. The Early November albums DT just released were some of my grail records, but I still haven't been able to justify the price of them. There have also been some really lazy presses that turned me off even more (*cough* War All the Time). My guess is in 2024 I would buy maybe 5 LPs, whereas in 2022 I probably bought 20 or 30.

I would not be surprised to see that this was pressed from a lossy source. The cymbals sound terrible. Anyone wanna digitize a sample and check the spectrogram 🤮

My pokeball sounds great too. Did they say anything about remastering it? Hopefully they will release it digitally.

The splatter pellets have gone outside the edge so the dead wax isn't round and I have no idea what happened. The dead wax where the pellets cut outward is actually cut short compared to other sides of the record. On top of that, there's a hissing sound each rotation in the same spot on both sides where the splatter is the heaviest. I'm thinking maybe the record isn't thick enough or the grooves aren't deep enough. The record isn't flat either. I'm going to give it a spin clean but regardless the plant really dropped the ball on this one so don't feel bad if you missed out. In my opinion the sound quality isn't impressive either.

I hope no one else's copy sucks this much.Wow I have never seen one that bad. That's failure at every step of the way, surprised no one noticed before shipping.

They reached out to me and asked how I knew it was a not an LP???? I'm torn because its a great EP but its also crazy expensive and I will probably never listen to it more than a few times when the fam is out of the house...

Glad its getting a repress, I'm happy with my 10th anniversary press. Bought it new when I first started getting into vinyl. The CD it came with got more play time in my old car but now I feel inspired to give it a spin.
Hopefully we get For All of This or Mother Mechanic Path press soon as long as its not 15 x 10" set or something silly

Arrived already. Don't think I've ever received an album this far before the general release date. Sounds great so far. The first single is about as "fast" as most songs get. He nailed the southwest alt country concept. Nothing groundbreaking but some quality twangy tunes
