Got my POOE. Great packaging, hope the rest of the Chimaira albums get pressed. Also the 3 remixed tracks sound absolutely massive. I cannot stress enough how much better they sound.

Hassle may not have distribution rights to the title in the States. They traditionally ship to the US but on the product page it says “this product only ships to the UK.” I imagine Warner cares enough to print money with this release that they’ll repress it eventually here.

Much easier than I thought

This is going to be a nightmare for two absolutely nightmarish variants. Wonder if this has new mastering or utilizes new plates from the last presses.

Newbury mostly receives a variant from a much larger pressing and then charges 25-50% more. They aren’t really doing much different from any other retailer except capitalizing a bit more on being exclusive.

Imagine paying $80 for a single LP at “retail.”

I think they already worked it out. Some people in VIP said they saw Jordan and Keith laughing and joking during the Christmas shows and they haven’t cancelled any of their upcoming tours. They seemed fine on stage at the shows too. I also got both of my alternate cover preorders, kind of glad I got them but wish I had sprung for the pint glass bundle instead.

Financially unfeasible and also idiotic to do one-off pressing for a festival the majority of fans won’t be at. I imagine other variants pop up end of year/early next year.

Ordered Chimaira’s Pass Out of Existence. I was surprised to see that one.

I’ve had my ZI repress for a bit. Got confirmation for the new one yesterday. At least we should have these by Halloween.

I bought both alternate webstore variants for some reason. Hoping VG drops another alt-covered version bundled with a $100 crewneck so I can continue to light money on fire.

The artwork is different, the last press was hand numbered, this version is gatefold, and this has a live version of Bouncing Off the Walls which was not on the last one.

I expect these to get repressed again sooner than later.

Been a minute since I got anything from Mondo. Picked up the red variant of the Shining 7”.

No, the Brooklyn Vegan webstore will have its own exclusive cover - which you will still have to pick up at the show. Exclusive tour presses with variants exclusive to particular web stores. You can’t Glassjaw this any more.
