  1. There's a question that I like to bring up to people, it being- if you had to go without either music or movies for the rest of your life, which would you choose? My girl and I differ because she could go without movies; however, even as a musician, I would choose a life without music over a life without movies. With that said, this is going to be really freaking tough to, so here's my list as of this moment, though it will change within minutes, and I also put 11 on here because I can, so suck it. In no particular order... -Shawshank Redemption -Good Will Hunting -Fight Club -Whiplash -High Fidelity -Se7en -The Grapes of Wrath -The Dark Knight -Nightmare on Elm Street -My Girl -Vanilla Sky
  2. Not that I know of, but I'm sure you could hit him up online and work something out with him. His name is Sloan Smith if you wanna try to find him on the googlenetz
  3. I generally don't do greatest hits collections, but the Smiths greatest hits is pretty damn solid, so I regularly play it at work
  4. It was tough to choose between Strangeways and The Queen is Dead, but "Stop Me..." and "Girlfriend in a Coma" are a couple tracks I definitely couldn't live without
  5. My buddy Sloan, a tattooer from Kansas, did it. Spreading that midwest love!
  6. I know a lot of these are going to be cliche, and I'm pretty alright with that. In no particular order: -The Smiths- Strangeways, Here We Come -Converge- Jane Doe -Saves the Day- Through Being Cool -Bruce Springsteen- Nebraska -Red House Painters- Songs for a Blue Guitar -Bon Iver- Bon Iver -The Gaslight Anthem- '59 Sound -Disfear- Live the Storm -Black Sabbath- Master of Reality -Explosions in the Sky- The Earth is Not a Cold Dead Place
  7. Agreed. I don't get why everyone thinks it's such a stellar flick; the plot sucks, the acting is awful, and the buildup is slow and disappointing.
  8. Bought both Not really because I'd rather spend 80 bucks on mike n Ikes than this garbage
  9. Got mine last night, but unlike you fools, I'm gonna show will power and open it at Christmas...maybe. My only hint is That it says "fragile" on the box, so the sender must be Italian. Has that joke already been made?
  10. Yeah man, I knew you'd guess it instantly. I was stoked I got you. I was actually gonna send you some pomade, since you sent me some last year, but I know how loyal you are to Suavecito. Nothing crazy exciting in the envelope, just some merch that would've given the mystery away. Happy holidays, Ian!
  11. I will fight anyone who doesn't agree that Appetite is one of the greatest rock n' roll records of all time. What will be playing in the background of said fight? That's right- It's So Easy will be playing and I'll be wearing a red bandana
  12. That's just as of late, that doesn't negate him as a strong character overall
  13. I know they're pretty adamant about none of the cast being safe from being axed; however, I'm pretty sure that due to his popularity, Daryl should be safe for some time to ensure that they still have frequent watchers.
  14. Not sure if people still collect these. Obviously, I did at one time; however, that time is no more as I now live in a tiny box of an apartment and need more room. Therefore, I am selling off the collection. Everything in good condition. PM me what you want and what price you think is fair (including shipping and handling). 15. The lady and I marathoned the entire season and absolutely loved it. It's definitely got a Louie vibe, visually and structurally.
  16. Thanks! So far it's been my favorite Halloween costume I've ever done. Wearing a skirt felt a lot more nice than it did awkward, seriously.
  17. Just got the last of my stuff ready and will e mailing Monday. Woot!
  18. Got my copy in today and it's bent to shit; the sleeve is bent in multiple places and the entire package is bent into an arc. I've been ordering records for almost two decades and I've never had to contact a label about a return and this will be the first. Anyone dealt with a situation like this via Doghouse?
  19. Lost of recent horror flicks viewed: - Contracted: Phase II- If you dug the first, then you'll definitely dig the sequel. Not too huge of a difference between the two, except I really enjoyed the original's protagonist. - Hidden- Though I really do dig Alexander Skarsgard, and think his performance her was really great; overall, the movie just felt like another generic "virus" movie. - Deathgasm- One of the best horror/comedies I have ever seen. It has metal, gore, satan, and nudity. What else could you possibly want? - The Final Girls- you nailed it Tony, when you compared it to Last Action Hero meets Friday the 13th. I really dig anything with Thomas Middleditch or Adam DeVine (who is still playing the Workaholics character in here) - Bone Tomahawk- Interestingly, Bone Tomahawk blends both horror and western genres into an incredibly tense, action filled flick. Great casting, with Kurt Russell, Patrick Wilson, Matthew Fox, and a bunch of other great actors. Out of all of these, I would recommend this to be watched first.
  20. Sure, it had its weak points, like how he went down; but I went into the episode thinking, "yeah, I don't really care about what's going on about this guy's past," to thinking it was one of the best episodes of the series.
  21. Same here. I have the lady's birthday present to pay for before I spend money on records; but like yours, my SS will be a piece of cake
