  1. Purity Ring - Shrines (teal vinyl) Male Bonding - Endless Now (Loser Edition, blue vinyl /750) The Graduate - Anhedonia (red and black swirl, /125) Also bought ROAR's I Can't Handle Change 12" for a friend's birthday.
  2. Got this in the mail a few days ago for $17, shipped from the UK. Unfortunately, it didn't come with the original sleeve (some chump jacked it from the store's showroom), but I'm still very happy to have it.
  3. The original price was £16.57, which is about $26. Because it was missing the sleeve, they discounted it by £5, which brought it down to $17.
  4. Thanks for the input and advice, you guys! I ended up going for it, mostly to complete the set (I already have Manners and Gossamer). With the discount, the price ended up being right around $20, shipped from the UK. Not too shabby, I guess, and now all I have to worry about is it getting across the pond without breaking. Hopefully I can find a replacement sleeve sometime in the near future. That being said, if anyone knows someone who happens to have a Chunk of Change sleeve lying around...
  5. Last week, I found a copy of Passion Pit's Chunk of Change EP for sale online, and went ahead and bought it. They sent me an order confirmation, and I didn't hear back until today, when I got an email explaining that, while they do still have the record, they couldn't find the original sleeve. They offered me a pretty decent discount if I still wanted it without the sleeve, or they would give my money back if I decided against it. So, should I go for it, despite not having the sleeve?
  6. Got my order today. Only ordered one LP, but it was very well-packaged. Good stuff.
  7. Just went from two of those collapsible rolling crates to an Expedit. I put it together earlier today, so my speakers aren't set up yet. I'm probably going to save up my next two or three paychecks and buy a new turntable/receiver/speakers. Lord knows I need the upgrade...
  8. Got the new Passion Pit for $13.47 shipped. Thanks much for the code!
  9. Got these from ShopRadioCast's clearance sale. $11 for Say Anything and $4 for Real Estate.
  10. Great mail day! Got the tan variant of New Junk Aesthetic from the Epitaph store, and my copy of Southern Weather came in as well.
  11. There's a copy of the TDWP 2xLP on eBay right now, ends in two days. Don't know if that helps any, just thought I'd let you know!
  12. Update! TTNG has posted their official pre-order on their merch page, "now available and shipping right away." You can also order "Adventure, Stamina, and Anger", the 7" they released a while back, for $5, as well as the CD. The Amazon pre-order is still up as well, but I might cancel my Amazon order and get the album + 7" from TTNG.
  13. Little Dragon's self-titled album (it's not super-rare, but it's just hard enough to keep a distance from me). They repressed it this year, and I didn't hear a thing about it! I'm still kicking myself for not knowing. That, and Relient K's Mmhmm. I never have enough money to get it whenever it pops up anywhere (usually on eBay, for ridiculous prices). Makes me wish I had started collecting a long time ago.
  14. Don't know how long they'll be there (or if they're still there), but SRC has some test presses available. http://www.shopradiocast.com/products/Yellowcard-%252d-One-For-The-Kids-LP.html
  15. Just today: Mae / Modern Dance Split 7" (black /200) Com Truise - Galactic Melt Redux (orange /???) I'm expecting the Cyanide Sisters repress, and have Southern Weather and the new Bloc Party picture disc pre-ordered. Mail days have gotten very exciting recently.
  16. Just read through the entire thread (twice?!). Test presses are pretty neat, but like a bunch of other people mentioned, not the best thing in the world. I look at them more as something for serious collectors rather than the average fan. That being said, I did receive a test press of Spaces' new LP from Walk-In Records the other day. It was packed behind the regular record, and came with a little note of congratulations. Very unexpected, and really cool! (By the way, the album is great, look into it if you've never heard of them before.)
  17. Real name: Adam Favorite bands: Bloc Party, Mae, Machinedrum, Two Door Cinema Club, Best Coast, Gnarls Barkley, Com Truise, Tesla Boy, too many more to list. Hobbies (outside of record collecting): Playing The Sims 3, drumming, and that's about it. I'm not the most exciting individual out there. Play in a band? Run a record label? Link us!: Neither, unfortunately. It'd be really rad to do either. Random things you want us to know about you: I'm a student at UGA, an impulse buyer (at least with records), and fascinated with roller coasters and architecture. My friends call me a hipster, which I will deny until my last breath.
  18. From T&N's Twitter: Modern Vinyl's update mentioned black vinyl, which was also pretty expected. Still, a great album at a fair price.
  19. That's what I thought as well. I've been checking their site frequently, just to make sure.
  20. Went shopping in ATL today. Picked up: Thrice - Vheissu (tan) Thursday - No Devolucion (clear) Descendents - Somery The Go! Team - Buy Nothing Day (gold) Rosemary's Baby OST After The Fire - ATF (bought mostly for the cover - it looks so 80's!) Also, the copy of Com Truise's Fairlight EP I bought off of eBay came in the mail. Good day for vinyl.
  21. The pre-order is live on Amazon, none so far on their merch site.
  22. Found a copy of Sharks - No Gods on red/blue haze at FYE last weekend, which was quite unexpected. Also picked up the Peter Pan soundtrack for $3 at the same FYE. Just today, I got Washed Out - Within and Without with false hopes of finding it on blue vinyl, but white will do just fine.
