If you haven't heard of Judson Claiborne yet I highly recommend checking them out. Based out of Chicago, songwriter Christopher Salveter has worked with a rotating arsenal of seasoned musicians in the chicago area. They have released 2 albums so far and currently have up a kickstarter page to get their 3rd recorded and released. Please check out the page for a video and more info on the release. As of right now it is just being released on CD and digital. The last 2 releases have come out on vinyl, so I imagine this will too eventually. I think the main problem is his customer service has not been consistent. Sure, there's a handful on here that received the record from him OK, but there's quite a few people having problems with him too. I received 2 email replies from him stating he would send the record out (weeks apart from each other) and he never did. Finally my 45 days to open a case on paypal was running out and I opened a case so I could at least get my money back if nothing showed up. He then wrote back stating that he wasn't going to send me the record since I opened the case and that I should go to ebay to get the record. Very disappointing. I would have easily have closed the case if I received the record. I understand that 10 years ago it was normal to receive a mailorder item 6 weeks later, but the standards are much different nowadays. I'm just ranting at this point so I'll just end it there.

not sure if anyone else noticed this or not, but it looks like Revelation changed the pressings of the 7"s to 1000 each instead of 500... and now the Elliott LP is 500 instead of 330. still worth picking up regardless.

True. Your best bet is to talk to the stores directly about the most limited releases you want. I wouldn't bother talking ot them about it until a couple days before RSD. They won't know what they're getting much further in advance. That will give you an idea what store to hit first. The stores put their orders in and some are sent based on first come first serve and other orders are juts placed randomly. There's not a lot of rhyme or reason to it from what I can tell. NOT GOOD. ordered once. never sent me the record. I emailed him several times and never got a response. Luckily I filed a claim with Paypal on the last day that I could. Got my money back. He never even wrote back once I filed the claim.

ok... so I have a friend who was the show promoter for the show last night in Columbia, MO. I asked him to pick me up a copy if they had color copies left. He sent me a text late last night saying that they were already sold out of the color and only had black vinyl right now for CTS. The merch guy told him that they had ordered 300 copies but only received 50. Some guy apprently bought 10 copies a few nights back and cleared them out... so expect those to be on ebay soon I guess. Not sure if they will get shipped more down the line or not... if anyone further down the tour is able to score the color please let us know. this is driving me nuts.

has anyone seen a copy of the colored tour edition yet? I want to try to get a friend to pick me up one, but don't want to bother if all they have is black copies since I already own it.

picked up the Mastodon "blood mountain" single LP reissue... it ended up being on clear blue vinyl. I keep hearing about a red version and the RSD site says that there is 3 colors out of 3000 copies. anyone know the pressing numbers and what the 3rd color is? I'm assuming 1000 per color. any info would be awesome... thanks....
